"Now watch and observe a scientific genius at work!" Dr. Aeon use Move and Attack, moving to K15/K16, punching the Juggernaut. 9 atk. vs 17 def. Needs an 8. Roll is: (2,5) for a 7 and just barely a miss! He'll finish his move in F14/G14

Appearing in a flash in front of the suprised Juggernaut, Aeon unleashes a powerful burst of energy directly at his hulking foe.... which deflects harmlessly against his side. "Oh... that was... not what I had calculated"... Aeon mutters under his breath as he teleports away to safety

2) "I love canned food!" Mako growls. "It always smells better when you have to work for it!" Mako pushes to charge to K15, attacking Juggernaut with Exploit Weakness. 10 atk. vs 17 def. Needs a 7. Roll is: (3,2) for a 5 and a total miss! Aeon HAD calculated for that possibility though, and is ready with a quick reality-hack, using PC. Second roll is: (5,1) for a 6 and still a miss! Kalinda tries to step in then, using PC as well. Third roll is: (4,4) for an 8 and finally a hit! As per your instructions, Ghost will take a token to PC that (Brock doesn't have the range). Fourth roll is: (6,1) for a 7 and just barely a hit! Juggernaut takes 3 penetrating damage. Ghost takes a token and takes 1 from the push, 1 SA for Mako who also takes 1 pushing damage and 1 AST for Kalinda.

Despite Ghost's helpfully shouted warning "Watch out for that Fish!" Mako leaps out of the water and directly on top of the surprised Juggernaut, Kalinda's mental forewarning telling the feral mutant exactly where to strike, adding yet more blood to the water as his razor-sharp claws and fangs savage the flesh of the Juggernaut!

3) "Delightful" Diabolique smiles as she watches the display of savagery unfold. "Absolutely delightful!" She absently reaches out to touch Dr. Aeon's over-heating armour. Diabolique supports Aeon with Covenant of the Furies. 10 atk. vs 15 def. Needs a 5. Roll is: (4,4) for an 8 and a hit! Support roll doesn't matter since he only needs to heal 1. 1 SA for Diabolique. Invigorate kicks in and removes a token from Widow and Scirocco both (Aeon doesn't qualify since he took a power action).

4) "Now my Champion, it is time we took a personal hand in this" Ghost Widow smiles coldly, teleporting herself and Scirocco up to the top of the cliff formation to confront the temporarily distracted Ghost. Widow teleports to I11, placing Scirocco in I12

Arachnos: Turn 7

1) Widow spares Mako a brief glance before she makes a dismissive gesture, purging the toxins from his body with a painfully cold wave of netherworld energy. Widow supports Mako. 9 atk. vs 16 def. Needs a 7. Roll is: (4,1) for a 5 and a miss. Kalinda tries to help out again with some PC. Second roll is: (5,5) for a 10 and a hit! Support roll doesn't matter since the fish only needs 1. 1 SA for Widow and 1 AST for Kalinda

2) "Alright, ready for round 2!" Mako snarls, shaking his head as he moves back to fiddle with Aeon's Kinetic Accelerator. Mako moves to A15

3) "Huh... how did I end up here?" Aeon blinks in surprise as the raging madness of the Furies wears off. "I'd better get to high ground!" Aeon teleports to P14/P15

Scirocco, Diabolique and Kalinda clears. Kalinda will PC anything successful she might see

"Marko's gone nuts!" Crossbones said. "We've got to stop him!"

"Shut up, Shocker," Crossbones said. "Seriously, Ghost, get a view of what's happening up there. Shocker, stand by to assist him."

"I'm just trying to get us of this mudball!"

free) "Enough. Let this END!" Scirocco closes his eyes and raises his blade towards the alien sky, calling upon the ancient power of the Mu and the Malleus Mundi" Scirocco takes an epic action to begin his Great Ritual

1) "Oh no, this ain't ending 'fore I've fed!" Mako growls savagely in response as he hits what he thinks is the "on" button for Aeon's Speed-Boost device. Mako Charges. Kinetic Accelerator roll is: 3 which doesn't do me any good.... plan B it is then! Mako moves to E16 where he'll attack and destroy the HO, just to use his attack. He takes 1 from the push, adding a Ritual Counter to Scirocco's card.

Clearly, Aeon's contraption isn't particularly user-friendly, at least not if the user in question is a blood-mad, half-feral shark-mutant! Instead of being propelled towards Ghost's perch on the cliff, Mako is spun around and tossed unceremoniously through the air, landing flat on his bestial face at Diabolique's feet

free) Kalinda side-steps back to F18 using her TA

2) "Oh, isn't this just adorable!" Diabolique laughs. "On your feet little beast, there are victims still left to feast on!" Diabolique uses Covenant of the Furies to Support Mako. 10 atk. vs 16 def. Needs a 6. Roll is: (2,2) for a 4 and a miss! Fortunately, Kalinda is in position to offer advice and PC. Second roll is: (3,4) for a 7 and a hit! Mako heals 1 and Invigorate kicks in, removing tokens from Ghost Widow and Kalinda both. Scirocco's token stays since an Epic Power Action is still a power action. 1 SA to Diabolique and 1 AST to Kalinda.

free) Covenant of the Furies kicks in, letting Mako use Running Shot! Howling in even more incoherent fury than usual, Mako leaps into the water and vanishes into the murky depths in G12

3) "Now, I think it's high time we resumed our encounter with the little *imitator*" Ghost Widow smiles with all the warmth of a polar glacier before enveloping herself and Scirocco in a flash of Dead-Light. Widow teleports to I11, placing Scirocco in J12

"Hey... wait? What's going on? Why isn't my teleporter responding... why is that brute running my way? HELP!!!!" Aeon shouts desperately as he realises he's trapped between a rock and a VERY hard place!

Aeon clears, and should Kalinda see any successful attack, she'll PC it
