I believe the first set was the Blackest Night starter. For simplicity's sake though just go by anything later than the Oreo bases (Superman).
It was Web of Spider-Man.
Waller KOs: AA Robin, Kid Devil, Joker, Question; AW E Cap; FCBD Iron Man; Miracle/Oberon; John Stewart x2, Iron Patriot; Shatterstar; IH Herc; CW Photon & Nitro; FF Nite Owl; 10An R Thor, E Iron Man, Weapon X; FF Kilowog; Hugo Strange; Calender Man; Legion Cosmic Boy & Lightning Lad, LE Pete Wisdom
Lamesauce. So Entities really are just all about the meta afterall. A shame considering the number of golden oldies Possession provides a second life to.
I'd probably still allow this in casual play. Its not like older clix don't have click#s, they're just not labeled. And if someone is cheating when there are no prizes on the line there are bigger issues going on.
Agreed. The rule is clear when it comes to offical events, but in casual home games, should I ever get my cheapass hands on my precious Parallax, you had better believe he'll be possessing figures without click numbers!

Historically, it has been ruled that effects which rely on Click numbers cannot be used with dials that do not have numbered clicks.
And if Black Hand is Unique, you could not play two of them. Even if you play one with Entity Possession at 25 points, it is still a character and subject to Unique limitations.

Double points if you have Parallax possess the ConEx Parallax figure

Nothing prevents characters without click numbers from being assigned entities at force construction. HeroClix makes it a point to state dial information is hidden information, and characters are not turned to click one until after the tournament has begun. So, a player has no reasonable way of knowing whether or not a figure has click numbers (presuming the hidden information of the dial). Once the game is being setup, all characters are turned to their first clicks, per the rulebook, then presumably game effects that alter what click a character starts on take effect. At this moment, the player would notice he is unsure of what click to put the entity on. So, it would be left on its first click, because the direction to change its click number cannot be followed. Then play would begin.

Except for that's not how it works, sure.

Yep, in Collateral Damage. Many of the fans who had been looking forward to the figure were upset that he didn't have Quinessence or RS (as he wouldn't have been so easily overwhelmed by OW or pushing damage and he charged in guns-a-blazin' in the comics). With the new one, he was much more like what he was in the comics... and when Nul's Hammer came out, it gave the old one a bit more of a comic-accurate style.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

Wow. Really? A_B did someone hack you account?
This is so many types of wrong it is scary. If a figure does not have click numbers it cannot be assigned an entity. Period. You know when building your force if your figure had click numbers.
Further, every click is numbered even click 12. So you will always see if it is or not.

No one hacked it. How do I know when building my force which characters have click numbers? Also, where is that a listed requirement for assigning an entity?
Characters should not be on click 12 during force construction. Any dial information available on click 12 should not be referenced until during the game when the character is turned to click 12.

The above only applies after a tournament begins. Building your force and assigning an entity (or any other game element) to a character is (hopefully) happening before the beginning of a tournament at which point you can use whatever information you have available to you. If you can't look at your own character's dials when you build your force, how can you build a force to begin with? Do you just look at point costs and characters and say "That looks like fun. I don't know what they do, but I'll play it anyway."
