The problem with playing with all these unfamiliar figures is a complete lack of a plan, and also the likelihood of overlooking something important - like Starhawk's Improved Targeting.

With his Words Words Words trait, he gets a Whisper token when Mentor uses Perplex. I don't know how useful that's going to be but we'll see.

Proxima RS to F16, shoots out the Barrier in I7. (I think you placed one too many Barrier tokens. Crystal gives you two extra, but no matter really.

Let's not forget Mentor's trait which disallows Black Order figures to use tas or traits. No Words, Words, Words for Maw. No tracers on Proxima etc. Still, I don't see any way that that would effect Starhawk taking 4.

Starfox sidesteps to F3. He'll try to mc Supergiant. No bonuses on Supergiant since she has no damage. Needs 7, rolls 3. Oates makes it 8.

Supergiant on Thanos. She outwits his invincible. Needs 8-1 for Mentor, rolls 6. Hall makes it 4. That just stinks.

Magneto sends Dire Wraith Queen to D4. He'll also tug Starhawk to H2.

Queen psi-blast on Supergiant. Needs 6-1, rolls 6. 3 to her. She perplexes her dv + 1.

Starfox rolls for his healing ta to heal Starhawk, has to be a 6 but gets 2.

The Dire Wraith Queen attacks her with a hard blow.

I certainly didn't know about Mentor's trait. That really kind of sucks. All these new characters with these neat special tricks that I wanted to try out, and they're all totally nerfed.

And it might save Starhawk, in fact. Proxima Midnight's Range is tied to her Tracer Trait. Without it she couldn't have blown out the wall to clear the way for Thanos. Checking my other options.

Okay I can pull it off by also giving Super Skrull Running Shot and repositioning him in G12. He can blow out the Barrier.

Okay, so it was the Queen that was confusing me.

Repositioning the Super-Skrull so that he could have been in range to destroy the Barrier last turn.

I was going to say I wish I had some Perplex, but Super Skrull has that now. He ups Supergiant's range to 7.

Supergiant tries for Oates. SC is 5. She has no other targets.

Corvus Glaive Charges to D10, tries to attack the Queen. Her Shape Change is 2, which she can reroll to a 3. AV11 on DV17. Gets 6. She PCs that to 10. Going to take a chance with his Blades/EW combo. Gets 4. OK. Slightly better than his base Damage. That's nice. 4 to her.

Thanos moves back to G19. Hard to see, but that is Hindering.

Super Skrull takes on Invincible again. Rolls his Trait, it's a 4. He's safe.

Don't really have the ability to ko the Dwarf, especially with the penalty.

Proxima is in E10 with Super Skrull and Supergiant both in front of her in E9 and F9. Mentor shouldn't be able to get LOF to her, unless there's something else I'm missing. Which with this game is entirely possible.
