The TB/V rule sets a precedent. Those two elements cannot be assigned resources. You cannot play the PP/BotS on a team containing either a TB or a Vehicle.

Therefore, it carries over that pieces with similar abilities also cannot have those resources assigned to a team they are on. Thanos, for example.

Yes, lets think about it.

Thanos: Can't be assigned a resource
Vehicles: Can't be assigned a resource
Team Bases: Can't be assigned a resource

A team with vehicles on it cannot be assigned a resource which is assigned to the whole team. Doing so results in an illegal team (I have seen these teams DQ'd)

So why would Thanos be any different than vehicles or Team Bases?

The rules of both team bases and vehicles stop you from assigning a resource to them.

It has been ruled that their presence on a team stops that team from having any resource that gets assigned to the whole team.

Thanos has a trait that is identical to their rules.

Therefor Thanos stops a team from having any resource that gets assigned to the whole team.

because he is not a team base character nor a vehicle... others can however. thanos cant enter vehicles(resource)

ah i see whats going on here! you guys are confusing the TB/VEHICLE rules with Thanos i get it now.. ok first to clear things up say i have a Tb with Thanos and another guy.. now if the traits or rules states they can't have r/r then whats stopping the other guy from gaining the effects since he dosent have the restricted r/r trait.. it just means the effects are passed onto Thanos or the Tb??
