I saw Big Hero 6 tonight (in 3D). I highly recommend it.
Please note, I am not at all familiar with the comics, so my opinion is based solely on the movie as a standalone. I understand that they made significant changes when compared to the comic.

IT was a comic? It really seemed like it but I never heard of it. TO be fair I never heard of Scott Pilgrim as a comic when it came out too.

No. I read the IMDB trivia for the movie, and the movie rights to those 2 characters are with the X-Men franchise, not Marvel Studios.
Also from reading the trivia, it sounds like it only slightly resembles the comic. Since I was ignorant of the comic, I didn't have that to judge against the movie. If you like the comics, then the movie version may bother you.
