I'm reminded of something that happened to me a couple of weekends ago.

I had to go buy something at a local outlet mall which gets tons of Canadian tourists. There is a Starbucks there. I took my Tim Hortons travel cup with me and got a latte at Starbucks. I was walking to the store and a Canadian guy stops me.
"Where's the Tim Hortons, eh?"
The look on his face when I told him that the only one was about 30 miles away was priceless.
(Nothing against Canadians here. I was just amused by the look of utter dejection.)


Side note to the side note: Sadly, ever since Burger King bought out Tim Hortons there has been a noticeable decline in the quality of Tim Hortons.

I am guessing this is 100% perception bias. The merger completed in December and no operations have been combined.

There are only a handful of THs near me, so my sample is small.
That said, the observations I've made aren't just opinion-based ones. I've noticed changes to things such as having smaller patties on breakfast sandwiches.
I will hold out hope that what I'm seeing is deterioration isolated to only my local chains.

I thought he was playing with Takion and the Power Plant and the burning of the Rings modified his combat values. Anyway the point was I remember an awful long thread on this subject a short while ago which is why I mentioned it. I haven't been anywhere but the rules forums is a little quieter than I remember what with Wizkids Official Rules forum opening up.
