Assuming the worst-- that TG's trait would be ignored when within the AoE of PW-- you could at least use Barrier to protect the "original" beforehand, allowing the bystanders to utilize whatever powers TG can use (ES/D, SS, PC, SC, etc.).

Sadly, yes... poorly written powers that don't work how intended tend to not get rewritten unless it's too overpowered. If TG could deal 4-5 damage and/or had a long range and movement, you KNOW she would have been errata'd within a few weeks. LOL!
I played her last night and each of the bystanders had outwit, shape change, skrull team ability, super senses, perplex, empower, side step, impervious, telekinesis and close combat expert. They were very very scary for 0 points POGs.

Decoy, Boxing Glove, Catapult
Blue Power Ring (perplex)
Ion (Imp and Outwit)
and a Skrull to copy?

I managed it with only one construct. Ion possessing the main triplicate girl to give the outwit and TK. Boxing glove on the main triplicate girl from the Blue battery gives them all CCE and with the ruling on standard powers the bystanders now have standard perplex (this would work with the Sinestro Corps as well).
The clever bit is the main Triplicate girl wild carded Skrull TA from a friendly Skrull with the ruling this gives the bystanders normal shape change. The bystanders then wild carded the Skrull TA to give them the Skrull TA.
The sidestep, empower and super senses were possessed by the main Triplicate Girl.
I think I may have miscalculated and with Ion I would have to swap between 2 of impervious, outwit and TK rather than having all 3 at once. I am thinking however of some more wild card abuse with them paring them with 25pt Bizarro to give them Superman Enemy TA so I would be able to have the outwit as well as the impervious and TK. Now I just need to think of a way to give them prob at the same time (if only Crime Syndicate was copyable) to make them the ultimate support piece/secondary attacker/annoying thing that you can't get rid of.

So this thread got me thinking when I looked at Superman and The Flash Duo...

So since that power can't be ignored and says "only use the powers of the chosen character this game," does that mean that the powers that they choose can't be ignored (Flash's SSenses, Superman's Invuln, and the Flash's OW)? Just making sure I understand the full impact of this...
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????

That trait does not allow the character to use any powers, so the fact that it can't be ignored doesn't mean that their powers can't be ignored.
Okay, thanks. I wasn't sure if the "only use the powers of the chosen character" part was enough or if the power/trait had to say "FigA can use ___ power" for it to work like that. Good to know!
