I like that I can browse eMouse's entire list without clicking on a set first, and I appreciate him listing where the map was released (FF, prize kit, etc).
There's a span from Icons to Supernova where I'm not sure about the origin of all the maps. If anyone knows it would help a lot.

lando uses light red shading for elevation (and darker red for higher elevation) which is sometimes good but sometimes bad (Pacific Ocean).
In general, map terrain is one of four basic types: clear, hindering, blocking, or water. Those types I made fill, while 'modifiers' (elevation, special, starting area, indoor) I kept as outlines.
Of course, a map like Pacific Ocean comes around and breaks that approach.
To convey levels, I use different thicknesses for the levels. It's subtle, but on a map like South Africa, I think it makes the elevations pop out.

Maybe I'll use both for a while. I'ma toss some money at lando's site though 'cause I feel attached to his maps. I had no choice. They arrived right before you did. I'm sorry.
It's okay. The annoying thing for me is that I've been sitting on these for a while, since at least the summer, but didn't have a good idea on how to present them. They're formatted with use in the units section in mind, which is why they're on the smaller side, but I deliberately avoided anti-aliasing so that they won't look fuzzy if someone wants to look at them at a larger size.
It started with getting ahold of a Sciencells map, and it seemed to me that rather than having to explain the terrain of the map every time it's played, it'd be better just to have a little half-page reference sheet that could be looked at. Particularly for those older or unofficial maps which don't have modern terrain markings.
Also, has there been an errata to the Bizarro World map? We noticed two things when playing on it in a match last night:
1) There are no elevation change triangles between squares I 9 and I 10, even though there is a ladder printed there.
2) There is an elevation line printed between squares I 10 and I 11 even though they are both elevation 3.
Great resource! One thing, though: the center square of the round table on the Indy HQ Map (M-10) should be clear, not hindering. It's a round table with an opening in the middle, as noted in the February 2014 Player's Guide.
The "Saturnflight's Additional Review" link for Green Lantern Fast Forces map Oa actually links to the DC75th Airport Terminal map instead.
Thanks, I'll fix that. I want to eventually link to all his reviews.

Yes, the Player's Guide addresses those two issues and is reflected in the Atlas with the addition of the transition, and the lack of a line between levels of the same elevation.

Also: I'm looking but not seeing the Anura Temple from the Hellboy and the BPRD Pack. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place, but I think I searched Indy and HorrorClix both?
An understanding of the law of large numbers leads to a realization that what appear to be fantastic improbabilities are not remarkable at all but, merely to be expected.
Firstly - Incredible effort eMouse and such an amazing resource! Again HCR proves why it's the No1 HeroClix site/community/reference. Thank you.

To follow up;
I started 'cataloging' types of maps - to run with themes... so assigned a set of
'keywords' to each map to help search ie. City, Buildings, Park, River, Stream, Alien Planet, Board Room etc...
It turned into a massive effort - opening up each map, noting it, flipping it, noting it, folding it...
If someone builds the reference cards to simplify each map - I am more than willing to contribute a set of 'keywords' to help with map selections/availability.

Might have to consider that when I'm back at home again.
