Question, the trait says IF HE IS THE TARGET OF AN ATTACK he gets a rage token. It doesn't establish if the attack is successful or not, so does that mean even when the attack fails he still gets a rage token?
Yes, it also means that you need to deal 4 damage to him to remove a rage token since you're giving him 1 just for targeting him
In Heroclix, can=must. He cannot make ranged attacks.
I under the understanding that you could choose not to active it. Take power cosmic clixes for example, you can choose to take pushing damage though you can use willpower. Or am I wrong here?
Prometheus121, when you are dealt penetrating damage you can still roll Impervious, it is just that the damage will not be reduced.
In Game terms: This means that you will have to remove Rage Tokens right away when dealing with Red Lantern's Poison since you skip the useless roll to make things faster.

Nope on both cases. Power Cosmic, Quintessence, Indomitable, and Willpower all say you MAY ignore pushing damage... that's why you can choose to take pushing damage, you aren't choosing to not use Willpower. No power is optional anymore (although it used to be), but you can only activate certain powers with certain actions (eg. give a free action to activate OW).
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
mhmm, if i read well Shape Change…. In case you give to this Hulk "Decoy" you risk to get a Rage Token and not be attacked….
You do not read well. (Wink) Shape Change means that when you're targeted... you cant be targeted... In other words, he's chosen as the target, but Shape Change activates before he's targeted.

It says "When this character is CHOSEN as the target of an attack, you may roll a d6. On a result of 5 or 6, the attacker CANT TARGET this character with an attack this turn..."
If you succeed at shape change, you do not get a token.
