I'm going to try to get Weapon X and Teen Titans notes out this week. The Teen Titans epilogue that I put down ~6 months ago needs one major plot change so it's taking longer to get to Cyon than I hoped.
Had a nice breakthrough in an important home project so I'm left with a bit of extra time to devote to catching up.
I'm working on the v5.0 update to my Sinister Six team, and decided I'd like to finally introduce a custom dial to my lineup. Calypso is a character that I doubt we'll see remade anytime soon, yet the Sinister Six badly need a support figure of some kind. She will also be a pain in the butt to upgrade to her (horribly outdated) Veteran dial, so she seems like the exact sort of character this rules update was created to deal with. I've been sitting on this custom dial for some time now and I think it is quite fairly balanced; but if anyone has any objections to any part of it, please voice them now.
Notice her lack of Sinister Syndiate TA (so she can't boost her low attack values by grabbing an 11 from a more expensive team mate) and her lack of defensive powers, leaving her a rather fragile piece susceptible to a one-hit-KO by any reasonable brawler with an object. Her short range and lack of move-and-attack powers leaves her reliant on objects to be a major threat to anyone, but doing so would eat up her fuel for her zombie-making power. So, all said, I think she's fair for the cost I assigned her, but I'll let you guys be the judge since you're the ones that might have to play against her someday.
Hypnotic Charms (Mind Control)
Retreat To The Shadows (Stealth)
Magical Manipulation (Telekinesis)
Jungle Potions (Poison)
Bokor Mambo (Willpower) Protect Me, My Family: Calypso can use Mastermind and may use it to transfer damage to friendly characters whose name includes "Kraven" or “Kravinoff” and are within range and line of sight, regardless of point value.
Read The Web Of Fate (Probability Control) Rise, Rise, RISE!: Give Calypso a double power action to replace an adjacent unheld standard object with a friendly ASM006 Zuvembie from outside the game and add it to your force.
Healing Elixers (Support)
Updated the book status post (2nd post of the thread) to show copy editors.
I've got myself on Cyon's two books because I was previous writing 100% of the few Teen Titans stories we've had and because my Future Foundation book ties heavily into X-Force. I'm also editing Metropolis and West Coast Avengers but since Gargan and Mike are the two other most experienced RPSCers around, that shouldn't be too much work.
New Titans copy editing will go to ALC. I seem to remember him being quite a bit more into the DCU than the Marvel U.
I've volunteered Gargan to copy edit Future Foundation. He came up with the original concept behind the book and I've been bouncing ideas off him for awhile so he's up to speed, there.
X-Factor will go to Mike due to some tie ins between X-Factor and WCA. Plus, Mike's the longest standing Marvel RPSCer so he's got the best chance of catching continuity errors in the X-Books.
N1n can help out with Weapon X editing. He seems to have a passion for X-Men stuff so that ought to be a good fit. Most of the Weapon X characters have been introduced in this series so it's not as continuity heavy as X-Factor.
Let me know if you want to swap or need more/less responsibility.
I don't mind. Am I just checking what someone else is writing? Or writing myself? If I am writing, can I take the New Titans in non comics cannon directions? I have some ideas ...mwahahahah... ops did I type that.

Hey, guys. Since there's a little confusion as to what I'm asking for here....
Currently, everyone is physically writing their own story. Some players (Gargan for example) are coming up with their own story direction and all I'm doing is providing a sounding board and checking for errors. A lot of players are getting notes from me. I'm deciding where the story goes (to an extent) and then when they're done writing, I check for errors.
So what I'm asking is for people to take the proofreading/error checking off my hands.
However, if you want, you can feel free to pitch ideas for the book you're editing...or any other book if the writer is open to it. I'm working off a combination of my ideas, Gargan's ideas and Lightshear's ideas. It can't hurt to have more. I'll send ALC and Nln pms with continuity stuff if they want to pitch Weapon X/Titans stories.
Nln should've sent you the revisions of my story, JoH.

General update so you know I haven't forgotten your team.
About 10% closer to posting the FF ending. ~75% done.
Weapon X has gone through two drafts and I'm putting the finishing touches on it. ~75% done.
Teen Titans ending had to undergo a major change and is now dependent on how the New Titans/Teen Titans crossover game goes so notes for that will have to wait.
I just started reading Longshot's only RPSC appearance. I have a general plot idea for X-Force but I want to make sure I'm not contradicting anything before I send notes.
I still owe ALC a pm on both New Titans and a different pitch.
just checking in if you ever got my email Jack? I had an intro for Defenders I think and we had gotten ready to move on with H4H but I don't remember writing an intro.
If I make you a trade offer, even if you think it's ridiculous, please at least respond with a kind and simple "Thanks but no thanks."
ok I emailed the defenders intro, hopefully it comes through, Thanks and thanks for taking over
on another topic:
The next upgrade I can buy for Iron Fist is the 94 point Fear Itself version, I personally don't feel like this is a viable version of him that I can use unless there is some type of story arc that allows me to get that special armor that allowed him to fly around. To me the next version of Iron Fist that I think would fit into my team would the the 100 point version from Ultron. What do you all think?

I agree, as I have a similar 'option' with Hawkeye and his Fear Itself iteration. Perhaps I could upgrade to that iteration, but there would have to be a really exceptional scenario for Hawkeye to have .
{ Also, how the heck is time flying like that? Fear Itself is Golden Age?!?... }
