0) Stargirl RCE Superboy, +1 av + dmg. 10 v 17 w/ Imperv. Roll is 1,6 for a hit. Impervious roll is 6 (see the trend, lol). Does that count as 1 SA since I did hit, just the damage was reduced? Lol, nvm, she was pushed!!! Question still stands though.

Unfortunately, an attack only grants an SA if it has some sort of effect on the target. So making your target use Protected IS worth an SA since it gives him an action token, while having an attack blocked by Impervious isn't, since it didn't do anything.
