Now, I know where you guys are coming from along the lines with everything in the rulebook and PAC. ( How powers and etc. is worded/written)
I am positive that NON-standard characters are Teambases and Duo figs. I do not have the link right now but will research it as I've read something like this in the past referencing standard characters.
Will post when I find it.
Uh, no. The rules are actually explicitly clear that a standard character is one that has the standard symbols: , , , and

No, I'm actually not even sure that wizkids knows, since "equipment" is not even properly defined.

Not sure how reading the rulebook is "reading into this too much". Is there a higher authority than the rulebook itself? The judge, perhaps, but even then, questionable.
It seems pretty clear they think "Standard" means single-based. Probably non-duo. The speed and defense symbols were not factored in.
Game design and the rules guys and the players are all technically using the same rules, but none of them understand them the same way, nor seem to pay much attention to each other.

What "they" are you referring to? Designers? Rules team? Someone else? And where are you getting that it's "pretty clear" that it means what you say? Especially since it's in direct contradiction to the rulebook definition?

I'm guessing "...of Sparta" given the context. Don't know what the rulings regarding him is though.
I have no idea who Jason is either.
I think he is talking about someone who can become a giant, say, like AA Ms. Marvel.
The entities from WoL can only be assigned to characters. If an entity is possessing Ms. Marvel, then if she becomes she is still possessed, but doesn't get any of the benefits.

I think he's referencing the Red Hood from TT. But I think it's moot, because he has a . But the question was probably focused on the Team Base aspect.

I hate when people use shorthand to try and communicate game terms.
Do you know the best way to communicate what game element or mechanic is being referenced when you want to talk about a specific game element or mechanic? Call the darn thing what it is called and don't expect people to read your mind.
(I mean the general "you" here, of course.)
