Because sometimes people go to tournaments and the judge rules that Banshee takes damage from Ultron's energy spikes if there's nothing officially saying he's wrong.
OK. And the answer is right there on the official forum. Why show them the copy and pasted answer, when you can just go to the official forum for the answer? What's the difference? Hell, it might even be more work if you show them the realms post and then they don't believe it, so you have to go to the official forum anyway.
Like I said, most of this just seems unnecessary. Keep it brief and concentrate on changes and trickier issues.

It's hard to say what's trickier to players, and what's confusing to me might not be so confusing to others. Additionally, if we're being honest, WK has a history of site crashing and mysteriously deleting posts that are either too old or don't fit their current choices. While I normally prefer more organization (there is admittedly a LOT of information here), I'd rather have access to this through multiple sites than leave the possibility that I won't have access to it at all.
It is a lot of information, but several of them are important, and others are frankly just interesting to rifle through. For example, I'm going to need to mess around with that Gambit some more. I had no idea that he can deal so much more damage with Energy Explosion than most people. And it never occurred to me to have Luthor pull tokens off of himself. It's obvious, but I never noticed, and now I have new ideas about the figure.
consolidating the answers to rules questions is very useful so we can keep up with what's happening, particularly giving us an easily accessible source on this site so it's not so "outsourced" and we can kind of keep things in-house. 'realms is supposed to be a one-stop shop for all things clix, after all. and it's super helpful including the dial with the question. I like the nod to rules with the orange lines
good luck on all the unseen work needed to make this happen and good luck parsing constructive criticism from plain rudeness. i'm rooting for ya
The one thing I like about this is it brings rules discussion back to the realms. If this brings some of the rules junkies back in to discuss and expand upon these rulings, realms could be a nice resource for players again.
Boy, I sure have pissed off a lot of people lately on the interwebs. Sorry to all.
What about calling them "Papillomas?"

They already do that in the rules forum.
Do you just look at the front page and not any of the other forums on this site?

To be honest, those rules discussions get lost in the shuffle. It's nice to have these right here for everyone to pick at and post for this article series. Presuming this article will be up for approximately 5 or so days on the front page, it gets good exposure. The real question should be this, is there anything bad about having another place to look at rulings other than what you deem as "unnecessary? "

First off, this article series isn't simply cutting and pasting. I have to format everything to make it reading friendly, as well as go through the questions and edit them, as some of them are near incomprehensible. That is probably due to language barriers and is in no fault of the people asking, but I have gone through the effort to put together all the rules posts of the last month in one convenient location and cleaned up the language to make it easier to digest.
It is also a good idea, as others have mentioned, to have all this information on HCRealms, as this is supposed to be the website for all info that is Heroclix. Also, if I was a reader and not running this article series, I would find it more convenient to have all the questions on one page as opposed to spread out over way too many individual questions posts.
If some find this series to be redundant or unnecessary, that's fine. If that's the case, constructive criticism is helpful and appreciated. If some do find this to be helpful then I'm doing my job.
And as far as the question of not addressing relevant rules issues goes, I pointed out in the article that this series will also cover Watch List changes/errata and rules changes, as those sometimes get stealthy changes on the rules forum site.

Hey man. Whatever floats your boat. I just think this is a colossal waste of time and energy that could be put to much better use. I've already stated what would be a better use of your time. Up to you if you want to change how you do things or keep doing what you're doing.

I'm not trying to be a jerk or put you down, but perhaps you could consider helping edit the article before it goes up? Maybe give jaysol a way to contact you and you can help pare down what you feel is unnecessary in it that would make it a little less bloated and more in line with things that would take people by surprise.
Honestly, if I were to do what jaysol is doing, I'd probably regroup the information that is presented into a couple of different posts instead of one big one; I'd have one post for the most basic of clarifications (the "read the PAC" type clarifications), a post for clarifications of powers that are unique to one figure (like the Brainiac example of token placement), and a post for errata or rules changes. That way it wouldn't feel like such a huge post and it would be easier for people to find the information most relevant to them.
Why is this needed? Most of these are simple answers to easy questions. Wouldn't it be better to concentrate on rulings that maybe people have questions on or are actual changes?
I visit this website daily and I find it much more convenient and clearly laid out than the WK forums. I greatly appreciate this recap for its concision and as entertaining, illustrated content for a site that I spend considerable time using. Since the Wizkids website uses "design" articles mostly as PR, I'll take my consumer-oriented articles wherever I can get them.
"Why is this needed?" supposes that articles on this site must follow a utilitarian calculus for which I don't think anybody advocates. Furthermore, the official WK rules and questions forums are not open to conversation the way the hcrealms forums/posts are. This gives people a space to comment.
"Most of these are simple answers to easy questions," is, I think you would admit, subjective. Even so, seeing these in-game examples promotes a greater understanding of the rules that a rule book could not possibly describe in case-by-case scenarios. Often, the answers given illustrate the fundamental flaws of the questions/misunderstandings, which is certainly helpful to players at nearly every level (misplays happen at every level).
"Wouldn't it be better to concentrate on rulings that maybe people have questions on or are actual changes?" I think those threads will naturally evolve out of these.

Well that's what I'm saying. My suggestion was to just keep it to changes or stuff that wasn't easily found by reading the PAC or rulebook. I would assume that someone doing an articles series on rules would know which those are and which aren't.
As you said, the big giant wall of posts is practically unreadable and is all over the place. I do like your idea of breaking it down to individual posts instead of one massive wall of text and pictures.

But nothing is being clarified. That's my point. The OP is just copying and pasting the answers the WES is giving.
Sure, then you are not the person that this post is for. I haven't played all of these figures. I find it interesting and informative, and I didn't have to search for each of these rules clarifications (I wouldn't even have known what to search for).

The OP didn't search for anything. He went here http://www.wizkidseventsystem.com/bb/viewforum.php?f=3 and then just copy and pasted all the most recent threads with the newest answers. Wasn't much of a search. I'll give him credit for cleaning up the questions so that they are easier to read.

Question: 1.) When a character is assigned the Millennium Key, may it target itself with the Key's Perplex?
2.) If a character assigned the Millennium Key targets itself with the Key's Perplex, may it then use Perplex a second time to target an opposing character?
[Yu-Gi-Oh! HeroClix: Battle of the Millennium] #S104 Special Object Millennium Key
Team:
Range: 0
Cost: 10
Relic: 4-6.
This character can use Perplex, but only to target friendly characters. When it does, and actions resolve, that friendly character can use Perplex, but only to target an opposing character and may only modify the same combat value.
Answer: 1) Yes
2) No. Nothing in the effect allows a character to use Perplex more than once per turn.
Isnīt a character friendly to itself?, and if so, wouldn't that allow him to perplex himself and after thar action resolves use it again on an oposing character?
