I think everyone is missing the potential of what he can bring as board-control and 2 instant penetrating damage for using 2 powers both desirable, and typically placed upon characters that want to hang around in hindering terrain tend to possess. If you play him on a team and get map choice, and pick something with plenty of printed hindering terrain, then you place him (25 point level) just so, he's a beast at just assigning damage to your opponent by merit of positioning. They want to stay at range ==> he gets the benefit of his ESD and the TA to keep him relatively safe.

Much like all of the other KC figs in modern, he's very effective for his points and what he brings to the table.

I think people are underestimating that automatic damage too much. Plus, if they want to try and take shots at him, his #'s are pretty high, and protected from modification for nearly all figs in the game.

Am I the only one that noticed his dial has ESD on his 25 point dial but not on his card. Is it supposed to be combat reflexes? What is happening?!

Hopefully, it's an error on the solicitation and not on the card.

That aside, I think it's a great figure. He's pretty straight forward with no frills. It seems to me that he and the new Chase Colossus are underwhelming to those who have come to expect these trait, Special powers, and Improved X figures to be the norm. It's like the spoiled brat that is no longer getting as many birthday presents because the parents realized that their kid isn't earning the value of the thoughtfulness of receiving gifts. The game is clearly changing and we are entering another era, whereby (hopefully) the game isn't about who brought the biggest or cheesiest gun to the fight.

And I love the Batman...
