Well... I can't go now, so (having thankfully not bought them yet) I will share the teams I was kicking around:

Mystical

300 / Mystical +8 / TTPC: 0

I have 5 variations of this team, 3 using the Avengers Round Table (ART).

It started as a way to get map choice and have Namor & Aquaman in slots 5/6 of the ART and use low point IDs to get Mary +1s by turn 3-5. I think the immediate ability to add Wrath to Spectre or Mary and then maybe get Mary Sloth and a second Sin by turn 4 has promise.

I am unsure how this would do verses a Zombie Team base, but it was my cheapest option.

The $400+ Team

105 7x War Wheel @15pts

030 aou055bd Ultron (Phalanx Drone)

015 The Atom

035 full ART [Dr. Strange(6), Booster Gold(5), Rick Jones(3), The Atom(2), Deadman(4), Superman(1)]

300 / Soldier +10 / TTPC: 0

Sideline: 4 SF Superman, B. Gold, Rick Jones, 15pt Atom, Deadman, LE Dr. Strange

Basic idea is to get the ART to the point all of them can use offensive PC every turn (rotating back & forth). Also started as an Aquaman/Namor abuse. Deadman in slot 4 to hopefully not have to use & have Steal Energy available.

Atom pops Atom ID strategically and some War Wheels go tiny and the others can free SStep carry, creating a chess board of Colossal barrier.

Superman (or Deadman or Rick Jones) could come in instead of War Machine if needed.

An even more expensive version of the team would trade Superman for SHIELD Lv 7 ID

The only problem I see with both of those teams is there is a lot of fodder on the field to be killed. In my recent experience people love to run away when they are up on points. Or take really long times deciding what they're doing on their turns.

My thoughts with the War Wheel one was that if I can cover every square of the board with CRUSH WITH GIANT SPIKES it makes avoiding retaliation insane.

With Mary I wanted to see how frustrating it could get.

Both were planned before the Mystique issue and neither was exactly with the intent to take it all.

If the tournament scene is still full of stalling I don't need it.

KC Harlequin (90)(up in the air on this one, debating finding a different 90-pointer)

I was considering Prime Union Jack in case of Zombies, and for being similarly versatile, or Shifting Focus Superman.

Im pretty new to the competitive scene so my team is one of those just throw together all my best pieces team. My team is balls of fury, klarion the witch boy, Mr. Mxy, Ultron Drone and thor id card and another id card which i havent decided yet. Ultron drone is 120 points then anyone else with a nick fury dont get the plus 1 attack and damage. Dont have many figures so figured this would be the most competitive! any suggestions?

Haha, I ran this at a no tactics roc, was going good until i ran into a team that was able to triple down my damage to 0 from anywhere on the map and stupidly i played some small piece to tie uo others and they ended up with a 10 pt win.

Had a test run last night, KC Flash, HENRY, and prime Union Jack, and I really like how it played, I think I'll roll with that this week. I had given consideration to AAoU GF Hawkeye and the Weapon Drop instead of HENRY and a 90-pointer.

The biggest problem I see with this team is it won't fit on any starting area of any map.
