Mikki and I got together and played a number of the a wave games. He was supposed to post them but I guess he couldnt get to it, kids and jobs and life right? But the long and short of it is I used Brood swarms of great size, Shuma Gorath and Validus to pretty much sweep.

I'd appreciate if you would post results, too. Sigh, my epic sacrifice was all for naught

Sorry, I got swamped and figured I already had my results so I didn't need to post them, but it makes sense that you would dothat battle after seeing nobody else had done it!
I'll make sure only to include my battles if I post them from here on out.
I was just mentioning it. I'm totally ok with Darkseid attacking Apokalips this turn. He can really take advantage of the double armies coming through this time around. He should remember it's a homeworld, and give it everything he's got. There's no telling how many troops will be stationed there.
Last turn saw a smart move from the Annihilation wave that tied up lots of forces. Smart tho this was, it did show kind of a weakness in the system. So from here on out, I'm putting a 2:1 rule in effect. If two armies meet in space, and one of them is at least twice as many points as the other, the smaller army gets pushed back to the planet they came from.
It's a good rule. I spotted the strategy a while back, but for the most part my only invader was a guy who ignored space lanes anyway, so there wasn't a lot of use. I'd considered it against Zod too, but I couldn't justify the GLs initiating anything.
This round is going to be a little odd because of the double lane allowances. A lot of factions are going to be able to attack with well over what anyone can realistically hope to defend. Even with homeworlds, anyone with a homeworld exposed is going to need to make absolutely sure they post a significant defense there.

Gonna add this to the ain post as well, but defense is doubled as well.

Gonna write it up after work tonight, but we played the Guy Gardner Must Die scenario last night and it was one of the funniest clix games I've ever played. Not only was it a really violent game of hot potato, but with Guy instead of a potato, we only had four Blue Lantern pieces so it was like they kept respawning after being defeated, like (Preacher joke below)
Spoiler (Click in box to read)
... the angels in Preacher, dying a horrible death and reappearing over and over again.

We subbed in Lady Deadpool for Taskmaster because she fit the point cost and her bag of tricks felt very Task-y to us. And admittedly, Fenris is an older piece, but he's my personal favorite Asgardian monster so we had to play him. For the Blue Lantern reinforcements, we only had a couple of pieces, but fortunately they were getting defeated fast enough we just kept recycling the fallen back into the start on click 1 and pretending they went into a bacta tank or something to heal up (though it felt more like respawning in a video game).
Result: Guy captured after being tossed around like a hot potato for half the fight. He also KO'd both baddies who fell.
"Five on two?" Guy Gardner asked, feeling his power ring hum with energy. "I've been in worse bar fights."
"With this crowd? Was the bar on Tatooine?" Taskmaster asked, creating a sword and shield out of green energy.
"Enough talking," Mongul said, his own yellow rings sprouting a pair of yellow scythes. "We're here for the human with the skin condition. Turn him over and you may live, Lantern."
"Skin condition?" Guy asked.
"I think he means your freckles," Taskmaster said, assuming a combat stance. "Sorry, no dice buddy."
The pair of lanterns moved into position, using a hallway to bottleneck their opponents to try to cut down on their advantage in numbers. Brother Warth saw the battle in progress as he flew by and joined, sending out a call for additional help.
Warth, in that self-sacrificing way the Blue Lanterns have, charged in to block both Greycrow and Sabretooth from reaching Guy. This is a temporary solution, though, as Sabretooth tears through him, sending the elephantine Lantern away to recover.
Taskmaster, meanwhile, accidentally finds himself tangling with both Mongul and Atrocitus.
"I've fought outside my weight class before," Taskmaster says. He holds his own, briefly, but the the Yellow and Red Lanterns prove to be too vicious a pair of opponents for him to take on.
Seeing his partner fall, Guy spirits him away with his ring and cracks his knuckles.
"Okay, you meatheads. Nobody messes with my partner and gets away with it. Let's see what you've got," he says.
In Warth's absence, both Brother Hymn and Sister Sercy arrive. The Blues turn their attention to Mongul to try to keep him away from Guy, but neither are fighters--especially against a monster like Mongul. The bounty hunters drive both of them from the fight just as Mongul wraps Guy in binding yellow constructs.
"Well this is kinky, man, but I'm really not into--" Guy starts to say, but Mongul bashes him once on the head to silence him and starts fleeing the fight.
Before he can get far, though, a bruised--but still very much ready to fight--Brother Warth returns to the fight, planting his massive frame in the yellow psychopath's way.
"You'll not leave with my friend, good sir," Warth says, catching an off-guard Mongul with a surprisingly effective punch, shaking his concentration and freeing Guy.
"Thanks, Jumbo," Guy said, rubbing his wrists. "I appreciate the save."
Before he can do anything else, though, he's suddenly bound up by a mechanical contraption fired from one of Greycrow's guns, which then yanks him back into captivity.
"Got the target," Greycrow says. "Heading for the ship."
Fenris Wolf falls upon a dismayed Warth, who once again has to leave the battle. In the meantime, though, first Hymn, then Sercy return, blocking Greycrow's escape route and freeing Guy once again.
"Jeez Louise, I haven't been in cuffs this many times since college!" Guy says, knocking Greycrow out with a swinging, and completely not green-ring-enhanced haymaker to the jaw.
"And that's for--" Guy starts to say, but before he can finish, he's locked up again, this time by RED constructs.
"Oh COME ON!" Guy says, before another red construct gags him. "Mmm mm mphh mrph mrph mph."
Brother Hymn finds himself besieged by both Fenris and Mongul, who grievously wound him, once again chasing him from the fight, alive but injured. Only Sister Sercy remains...
Until Warth, even more battered than before but ready to fight, charges back in. He attempts to block Atrocitus from escaping, but it's too late--the Red Lantern is already dragging a furious, red-faced, kicking and screaming Guy Gardner onto their escape vessel.
Mongul and Fenris quickly join him, leaving both Earthmen--who had fallen during the fight--behind to face the consequences.
As the hatch of their ship closes, Atrocitus looks down at his captive.
"I really wish this had been an assassination bounty," he says. "Taking you alive is so much less satisfying."
Salaak drummed three fingers on the desk as he weighed his options. Charles Xavier of the Blue Lanterns floated in front of him effortlessly, awaiting his orders. They needed to find where the leak in their information had been coming from. There were distinct secrets that had been leaked that only he, the Guardians, and a few officers, such as Guy Gardner, had been aware of, only to be anticipated by the enemy.
His thoughts drifted to Guy. Guy and Taskmaster hadn't been heard from in days, not since securing victory on New Titan against Zod, and...curiously enough the Parallax Corps. It appeared that Lyssa's promises of aid to the Lantern Corps were as hollow as her predecessor's. It was troubling, because he had been sure she had been earnest in her proposals of peace and cooperation. Had he been played? And why hadn't Guy reported in?
Xavier interrupted his thoughts "If I may, I have Hope that they will report in as soon as they are able. I believe in Guy Gardner, and if you're honest with yourself, you do too."
Uatu towered above both of them, staring down at everything. "And it does not change our current plants. I have spoken with Ganthet and Sayd, and they agree that the mole must be found."
Salaak responded "J'son and Lilandra of the Shi'ar have been very adamant about the same. They've volunteered Oracle and Saturn Girl to help flush out the spy. You are to get their help in any way you see fit, but I'd prefer you to be discreet. No one is suspected at the moment, and while I consider the Shi'ar close allies...I would prefer to keep as many things...in house as possible." Xavier nodded. "I have experience in dealing with the Shi'ar. I can make them comfortable, and keep them for using base scans only. This will all be as discreet as possible."
Salaak rubbed his temples. "Guardians help us...proceed, and let me know what you find. Uatu, I'd like you to look in to possible ways they'd have gotten any word in or out of Oa without my knowing. If anyone has been acting suspiciously, I want to know about it."
Xavier nodded and left the room to greet Oracle and Saturn Girl. Uatu stared at Salaak for a moment before leaving on his own.
Kree, I will use diplomacy one more time. Leave the Skrull planet Winath immediately. In doing so we will respect your space until the time for the Kree/Skrull war can be started anew. We promise to deliver your people to salvation and purify the cosmos of your people in due time. This will be my final attempt at diplomacy.

We are pleased to hear you will be giving diplomacy a try! Perhaps it will give you a chance to practice the coming announcement of your surrender.
The Kree do not negotiate with doormats... we wipe our boots on them so we don't track space dirt into our grand domiciles. However, in the interest of respecting the peaceful nature of our allies, we will make you a counter-offer that is good for one galactic day.
We will transfer custody of 0,0,0 to you in return for custody of Ch'nitt. In addition, I offer you a peace treaty to be signed at the same time as the transfer occurs. You will hold a larger planet, protected by notable diplomat Emperor J'son and the venerable Nova Corps, and I will finally be able to connect two larger portions of my empire.
I await your response.
