Running multiples of these you could create some interesting combos. In general penetrating poison would be super good, some figures with that ability include Hazmat from Avengers Assemble or basically all the Red Lantern Corps figures from War of Light.

Twenty (20) defense with multiple probability from their team ability could be very hard to stop, and all of their precision strike means that their damage will have a better chance to stick.
Or be that other guy and use lots of Thugs to let multiple Stilt-Man retaliate colossal-ly.

Iron Nail with Gluttony relic gets a 20 Def (18 + Combat Reflexes) plus his Rapid Power Drain mess with adjacent figures combat values. The Gluttony relic also let him destroy walls and blocking terrain. Gluttony prevents healing, and takes only 1 click of damage with Mystics feedback. He can nerf resources and a little Poison goes a long long way. Since it's a 6x6, his short movement won't be a problem. Greed does his special MC and possibly deal penetrating damage for giving action tokens to opponents, he's got Combat Reflexes which bumps his Def to 19 at close quarters. Peggy Carter shoots from a short distance and nerfs opponents powers or TAs. If played right, you can pretty much shut down your opponent's figures.
