I'm 100% on-board with the Wonder Woman change...if for no other reason then they got rid of the dog-collar. I'll never understand how that wasn't considered even more offensive than spending sixty years in a swimsuit. I'd also agree that having a costume design with a quieter color made Wolverine look far better (not to mention making it a bit more realistic that this "tracker" could sneak up on somebody).
While Thor's old look definitely needed an upgrade, I still don't feel that he's found the right one. Although any nerd could tell you that studded leather easily increased his armor class by 2 points, I just don't see why a guy with bulletproof god-skin needs armor of any kind. Personally, I'd have bee fine if he stayed like this...
As a guy who was first wowed by Spidey's new look back in Amazing Spider-man #252, I've got to say that I've always been torn. On the one hand, the black costume was far more spidery, but on the other hand, it's tough to mess with Ditko's design (and since Spidey never used to be the "lurking in shadows" type, his primary colors were less distracting than Logan's). No doubt that this is the most dramatic -- and most memorable -- costume change in comics history.
As for Robin...well...the red tights are better than the Speedos. However, I'd have to argue that Grayson's change to Nightwing was a better costume update. As for guys-named-Robin-costume-changes, I like Damien's hooded costume with the splash of brown best.

Sandy then Bendis series came along, and then even more sadly Star-dude became the go to design and characterization.
I loved his annihilation:conquest and GotG costume
Everything Bendis related after Thanos Imperative, however, was terrible. Especially the space power rangers costumes he briefly tried to force on us before he decided to use the GotG Movie as the main source of continuity for the book.

-Personally- I don't really view half of these as 'Alternate' costumes, more evolution of the same thing. Spider-Man and Wolverine? Those are drastically different.
Thor, Robin and WW, while needed updates, aren't really 'alternate'. Captain Marvel's new digs (female, Marvel), Invincible (Blue/Black) and Aquaman (Hook and Beard) would make my list long before those three.

Probably the same reason he often deflects attacks rather than just lets them bounce off - you never know when some jerk will enchant his crowbar to suddenly pierce god-skin.
Hawkeye probably deserves a mention - his recentish change from the old school chainmail and H mask to the subdued fletching shirt was a big upgrade and reflected a nice evolution of the character.
Captain Marvel is probably my favorite redesign in recent memory, though.

I'd argue that Robins costume is certainly an alternate. Gloves an boots changed, cape changed, full pants vs speedos, utility belt, no green. About the only thing the same is the R symbols placement. Remember it's alternate costumes, not most radically different costumes.

I mean, yeah, Robin got a much larger overhaul than Wonder Woman or Thor, but visually, it's -very- similar. It's basically black instead of green, plus he doesn't have to shave his legs anymore.
To further my point, both Wolverine and Spider-Man both went back to their original costumes after Brown/Tan and Black/White respectively. Alternate.
Thor, Wonder Woman and Robin -changed- their costumes, and to my knowledge have yet to go back. That's not alternate. They're just updated.
