For me, it's just another iteration. I don't like my comic Batman or Superman to kill, but I don't consider movie Batman and Superman to be comic Batman and Superman. It's like another universe to me.
I loved when people were pissed about Superman killing Zod in Man of Steel.
He killed Zod in Superman II! In a much more gruesome way than snapping his neck.
He did! He killed people pretty gruesomely. I don't think he killed anyone in the original Batman, but in Batman Returns he was lighting people on fire and stabbing people with swords and blowing people up with dynamite.
I wasn't really pissed off about it, just, as far as Batfleck being the redeeming thing about Batman v Superman, I thought his acting was good, but he was basically a crazy person in a Batman outfit the whole movie. I mean, the dude was straight up planning premeditated murder against an alien, because he got scared. He's just not the kind of hero you want to root for, for me personally.

Bashed in a Joker henchman's head with a church bell, and then threw him down the clocktower.
And shot his machine guns into a crowd, I think.
And those goons trying to steal the Batmobile are very, very toast. James Bond has a less lethal security system on his car.

Thanks for responding guys!!!, I really liked all of the movies in the DCEU. I think that they are fantastic (with the exception of suicide squad which. I think had good characters but a terrible story.) Also I am seeing a lot of arguments about Batman killing. They explained why he killed. Robin was murdered by the Joker and after the destruction of metropolis, it already made him more paranoid of an alein who could potentially destroy the world. At the end of BvS Batman realizes what he has done and will not kill anymore. Also, after Superman is reborn, he will be more of a symbol of hope like pre-new 52 or rebirth superman.
I'm wholly uninterested in this set idea, with one exception. I'd take any Batfleck clix. You're daft if you think he wasn't, at least, the one redeeming thing about BvS.

Yeah it's weird, I don't where he could have gotten such an impression...
90% of rules questions are answered by RTFC. Most of the rest are answered by a proper grasp of English and common goddamn sense.
He kind of lost me when he started shooting people to pieces and stabbing people with knives. It may be a matter of taste, but I prefer it when Batman doesn't have a higher bodycount than the actual bad guys he's fighting do.
You mean when future Batman is mowing down Darkseid's goons on an Earth that eerily looks like Apokolips complete with firepits, in a dream sequence?

No, when he was driving the batmobile after kg beast and killing the hell out of people. Or murdering everyone holding Martha Kent hostage.
And that's fine, as far as it goes. Except for one thing: there is no way Joker should be alive in Suicide Squad. You have a Batman willing to kill and you have the man that killed Robin.
Joker should be dead and the fact that he's not is a writing problem.

I would be for a Justice League Movie set later this year and I would want to complete it as quickly as possible. The Justice League is my go to team every time I can run them. This includes two very much played #012 Batman and #016 Superman from the BvS set who are two outstanding versions of those characters. The rest of BvS may not be very good, but those two pieces are great to use.
From the promo pictures I've seen, I could see us getting a couple of Superman in it. The first one in the regeneration suit of black & silver on him and a second much more powerful version in his traditional blue & red suit. The only suit I'm not thrilled about is the armored look of Flash's suit. It doesn't look right to me but the rest of them look fine to me.
I would prefer a 24 count set instead of 12-16 just so we could have the possibility of getting two versions of each of the 6 heroes and if Green Lantern does join with them at some point in the movie. We would have a slot open for him to. Even if that would happen that's 13 slots out of the 24 filled. Enough for a 2-3 supporting pieces and the rest go to the villains in the movie.

I liked Batfleck, but Wonder woman was the biggest redeeming factor of BvS. On the whole, though, I actually liked the movie. Was it a great movie? No. Was it really in the same league as Civil War? Don't even try to go there. But I still enjoyed it.
As for this set, I'll continue my wait-and-see method and probably just buy any singles which appeal to me.
Every time I watch the DC movies I just think this is the Earth 2 guys I'm watching, Ultraman, Owlman ect...
And as far as Suicide Squad goes I actually liked the movie a lot
and it became quite clear that this was some Bizarro-verse when Joker was obsessed with saving Harley.
EVERYTHING about these movies is backwards= Earth 2.
Enjoy
