Despite other people, thanks for posting them all in one post as well as the other two unboxings. I don't care that it is "late". It is STILL before the set comes out. Thanks again!

I was sorry to see Scott being upset by the lack of support for the unboxing videos, glad to see it was just an omission. I was starting to think there was some problem with Wizkids about hosting the videos, glad to be wrong on that one.
Big thank you to Scott for the videos always enjoyable, though I'm amazed at the quality you get from an iphone watched one of them on my HDTV and the picture quality was amazing.
I don't Think there is anyone in particular in charge of posting videos to the front page, to be honest. I've done it for Scott once when he asked me to, and I'd be happy to do it again when needed. Thing is I am not an Active player anymore so I don't really keep up with things like that. Feel free to prod me if you want some help though, I am here most of my free time.
Another contributing factor is that I really need to be at a keyboard to post news, it's a dang pain to do via mobile, so even if I do happen to stumble across a video on the phone I may not remember to post it later...
To be honest I think it was better to release it now the way it was done. I think it's more convenient if it's shared all at once when the series is concluded.
Otherwise we'd get one video, then it gets pushed down the front page by newer articles, and making individual article posts for each part of the series also seems unnecessary.

I Think it's easier to miss a single article than a whole series of it. You can link to the previous videos in each news post, so it's fairly easy to keep track of them all.
Honestly, who looks at the "front page" of this site?
These videos are always announced, watched, and meticulously analyzed in the upcoming sets forum, where most folks go if they want info on (weirdly enough) upcoming sets.
The front page is always an easy pass. To want recognition on it comes off as a little needy, and pointlessly so when it comes to the popularity of unboxing videos. The people I know who still play have either the units section or the upcoming sets section saved as their favorite way of getting here. They blaze right past the front page.
Don't get me wrong, collecting them all in one spot is a good idea, but one that should be stickied to the top of the upcoming sets forum until after the set release (to be replaced by the next ones). Posting on the front page will just result in it being pushed down and lost by long winded reviews on the best way to build an obvious team or store your maps.
I always enjoy Scott's unboxing videos; as they have the unusual combination of good presentation and production quality, with enthusiasm and nerdy glee at his pulls.

Different people have different routines. Some prefer to never leave General Discussion. Posting things on the front page and perhaps directing the traffic to Upcoming Sets probably means more Eyes on the video, which I assume is a good thing for Scott.

The bold is what I figure the reason is for this, given his comment.
The thing is, Deez, all your assumptions could be correct or they could all be wrong. I believe your assumptions are partly correct in that most people who want to see the unboxing on these forums know how to find them. However, there is also probably a small contingent of folks who don't scour the forums but would still like to watch the videos conveniently from the front page.
As far as your comment about "obvious team" articles or my thoughts on all the ROC stuff, the front page seems to be less about actual "news" on the game the site was built to support than the rest of those things. I, as a longtime supporter of HCRealms, would love to see more actual "news" on the front page and thought all of the unboxings might actually warrant some consideration.
It's all cyclical. More eyeballs on the videos mean more videos can be shot and shared with all the folks who enjoy them. It's not needy, it's just plain common sense.

I also don't see what you wanted was needy. It just makes sense to want as many eyes as possible on the videos. It'd be nice if this site went back to being about Heroclix news instead of just constant ROC promoting.
You also really should take the complaints with a grain of salt. Sometimes they're valid and helpful, and sometimes they're made just to get a rise out of someone.
