They said it wasn't part of Day 1 DLC, so maybe down the road, after I've beaten the game multiple times probably.

I dunno, it reminds me of the original ME with the crew size, though there will probably be DLC companions too. Besides, Krogan Vanguard in multiplayer.

I haven't really kept up with Andromeda news, since I don't have a system I can play it on yet... is the multiplayer similar to the one from ME3? I actually ended up really enjoying multiplayer on that.

Looks like it. Squad based, PVE only, and you have different character options.

Frankly, after ME3's ending (which I'm tempted to have be the serial killer in a ME game, ha!), the multiplayer was still good enough to keep me playing that. Though I never could bring myself to play another single-player game all the way through after the first time.

From what I've seen the MP is similar to ME3 and DAI, almost Identical really. There is also Strike Teams missions that you can either go on yourself in Multiplayer or send a group of recruited and upgraded NPCs and get specific rewards for Single Player.

For me, I think ME3 just made me switch to PS, and I never bothered to get ME3 on the new platform, so I missed out on the cooler MP stuff. I think the last thing I was around for was that Tech guy that was broken because you could sit in the corner on platinum and spam overload shockwave on like 3 second CD and win. Had little swords too, class was Shadow I think. From what I remember though all the N7 classes were kind of fun and a bit OP when first released. Though they were still nothing compared to the Geth Infiltrator.

Though admittedly I would have probably quit around the time they released the Volus biotic.

Though, once ME3 became backwards compatible on the XB1, I reloaded it on there for MP. Couldn't find anyone, but unlocked a Geth Juggernaut. That looked fun.

Hello, new HCR mafia thread!

I just want to express my increasing excitement for this game, especially seeing more and more HCR folks as well as now the hosts and theme have been determined. This is going to be awesome. I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time.

I'll be grabbing Andromeda as well (on XB1 for those that want to squad up)

Also, I grabbed EA Access this month for 4.99, this allows you to access the 10 hour preview that launches on the 16th(full multiplayer, limited single player, but all carries over to the full release). Meanwhile, the EA Access gives you 10% off pre-release... so that knocks 6$ off the standard edition, giving me the preview for free and saving me a dollar on the game. Still a day or two to do that if you haven't yet, and you can cancel EA Access at any time.

Tempting, but I'm fully prepaid on my Gamestop order for XB1 (I think we're buddies already on XBL, if not I'm malakim2099).

And yeah, definitely willing to team up for multiplayer goodness. FOR TUCHANKA!!!
