Don't see why you could not try to close attack with them even though you need to roll a crit for 1 damage. Same with moving since moving zero squares counts.
Would you have to give one of your characters the debuff from these guys so you can carry them to the enemies? Because the only other method of transport is telekinesis or bouncing them around with frogman from SFOSM.
I also wish they had a power that let them be placed next to people running away from them.
Out of curiosity, what is the 3 defense meant to accomplish?

Depends what you mean.
If you mean, "How can I leverage a 3 defense to my advantage," I'm thinking: give Tribbles the Defend power and then watch them be useful when someone makes a Support roll.
If you mean, "How is a 3 defense better than a 0 defense which presumably would cost less," then I've got nothing. Even people with a 0 attack would only miss a 3 defense on a critical miss. I suppose, with a 3 defense, the defense could be perplexed up to a 6 defense which can be missed by some characters (people with a 0 attack).

Didn't even think about the defend thing, though I don't know any ways to grant defend.

As for this, sidestep seems like a long time before they reach an opponent.
However, the thought of just spawning in one giant line across the map just occurred to me, and boy is that a pleasing image...

If they weren't tiny, they could be possessed by Adara. However, the best way to grant Defend that works even on tiny characters is the Legion Flight Ring.

And don't forget that you could start with a *lot* of Tribbles. In a 300 point game, you could have a team of 60 Tribbles (but that would be a terrible team). And then your starting area would expand* and you'd be even closer to the opponent's forces.
*not sure this is still true in new rules.
In a 1000 point game, you could start with 200 Tribbles.
I think both Hela's are going to enjoy Tribbles, my personal favorite is the Thor Ragnarok piece. Also Hades may have some enjoyment with them. Frog-Man may be able to pop them around for some fun. These Tribbles are gonna be fun, I can't wait.
I also like the Star Fleet security officer to protect some of your pieces, maybe better protection for your colossal retaliators.

If I fought someone who had 200 Tribbles on his/her team, I would forfeit immediatoy and vote them for fellowship. Anyone with enough dedication to get 200 Tribbles deserves a prize!
