I'd say I'd take the extra 1 damage in the Thing's case, generally.
I need your answer on something too. Pandora's damage sp makes you take an action token when you use pc. Would you chose to take the action token and use pc or no?
I hate to push her but Violet has to move. Break is a perfect 6. Moves to K9. She outwits Strange's ss.
Pandy to G3.
Black Adam hss to K12 snagging the HO from underneath Strange and attacking. Needs 5, rolls 8. That's 7 to Doc. 1 to Adam.
JC tks Bizarro to G10.
Bizarro hss to M13 needs 5 to finish Strange, gets 6. Sorry not sorry, I guess. He ends in Strange's spot. Loses a token.
Strange was the bigger concern but Thing and Hulk are certainly concerns.
Supergirl hss to K6, snagging the ho in K5 attacking Thing. Needs 7, rolls 5. JC rerolls 3. Pandy makes it 9. Imperv is 1. 4+2-2=4 to Thing. Supergirl to break? 4. Ends in I2.
Hal barriers again. He'll try to incap Hulk. Needs 7, rolls 8.
You can't use objects in a HSS attack any more. You can be carrying them, but you can't use them. With Strange, it doesn't matter. Even with Adam doing 5, Bizarro's follow up KOs him. Thing only takes 2 though.
Also, I guess that's M12 for Adam.
Reed Perplexes Torch's Damage to 5
Torch on Black Adam, AV10 on DV17. Gets the 7. Adam takes 3. Torch takes 1 for Mystics.
Daimon on Bizarro, AV11 on DV18. Gets 7. SS is 5
Reed on Bizarro, AV10 on DV18. Gets 9. SS is 1. Clicks his dial 3 times, but more importantly, removes one of his tokens.
I made no attempts to hide how excited I was to finally get the Eternals. They were a quirky favorite of mine for a very long time. I can't say I'm going to play all of them, but a few, at least. We'll start with Ikaris.
Sue TKs him to I18
He'll use his Super-Perplex to make his Damage 6 and target Adam. AV11 on DV16. Gets 7. Impervious is 1. 4 to him. 1 to Ikaris.
I don't think a hit move Bizarro's dial, it only moves at the beginning of my turn. It does remove a token, though.
Supergirl hss to I6, attacks Hulk. Needs 7, rolls 9. 2 to him. She gets another Bombshell and attacks again. Needs 7, rolls 5. 7 for Pandy. Imperv is 4. 2 more to Hulk. Break? 6. She ends in I2.
Pandora on Hulk. Needs 8, rolls 8. 3 penetrating to him. Puts him on his last click.
Adam did his job but he won't last too long. I'll go the easier choice and pick on Johnny. Needs 7, rolls 5. Has flurry: gets 4. That's probably all she wrote for Adam.
Bizarro rolls 1 and is on click 7. He attacks Reed. Needs 8, rolls 5.
Sensor Girl to incap Thing. Needs 8, rolls 5. She makes it 7. Pandora can use pc again: 9. Another token to Benjy.
Regarding Bizarro and "taking Damage" most of what I'm seeing on the Units Comment Thread seems to indicate that he does turn his dial when he gets hit, but I'm not seeing an official ruling one way or the other. Oh well, doesn't really matter I guess.
Ikaris on Black Adam, AV10 on DV17. Gets 8. Yep, that's the predicted KO. 1 more to Ikaris.
Nighthawk to M12 to block. Wish I could attack with him too, but RS won't allow it with him basing Bizarro doing that.
Hulk on Sensor Girl. Hopefully he can get at least one hit in before you KO him. AV10 on DV17, but of course has to get past Shape Change, that's 1. Okay, gets 11. She makes it 5.
I have much more flexibility in my DC picks than Marvel but I certainly have a handful of must plays left. Katana is one of those. She charges to K6 attacking Hulk who's a little more of a threat than Thing. A 6 does it, rolls 7. And he's out. I'll give her wp.
Bizarro rolls 7 and goes to click 2.

"This guy may be even tougher than Ben," the Human Torch said, as Bizarro took the combined attacks of himself, Reed, Daimon and Hellcat and still fought on.
"Bizarro am weaker than Superman!" he boasted.
"He's about at thick skulled as Ben too," Johnny added.
"I heard that, twerp!" the Thing said, picking up where the Hulk had left off, trying to hit Sensor Girl, and failing just as badly. "Wotta revoltin' development."
