"Mondo's pretty tough. I'll handle him. You take Phat," Logan ordered Icarus.
"Good plan," Mondo said, absorbing the asphalt's properties. "But mine's better." A younger Logan could have easily handled Mondo, but the old Logan, reflexes slower, couldn't evade the young mutant's punch.
"And I can't seem to hurt this guy," Icarus admitted.
I wonder if we should start picking our next game just to be ready. Already forgot who goes first.
It's interesting the perspective we get on how good a figure is playing this way. It's totally different than the way we normally play.
Iceman to incap Synch and Surge. A 4 won't do anything, though. Wait, he has a limited pc. Rerolls 8, 6 and 2. A token to both. A click to Surge, too.
Phat rolls for his trait: 1. That's for you to pick. I wonder if you can offer a rule of thumb since he's playing in both games. I'll assume attack in this case. Needs 10 against Logan, rolls 4.
Jean tks Beast to C14.
He outwits Logan's cr and attacks. Needs 7, rolls 4. PCs to a sweet 12. 5 to Logan; 3 from Beast, 1 for the critical hit, 1 for hitting the wall.
Penance to D14. Attacks Logan. Needs 4, rolls 9. SS is 2. He's koed.

It is. It's funny, but it probably actually gives us a better feel for the figures as they were designed than our usual games. I'd give this at least a few more turns before we start drafting for the next one, though we could start throwing out thoughts of what to do in the case of pulling already used figures, which will start to get more and more common.

Your recap has XXS04 Iceman. Correct me if that's wrong, but that's not the one with the special PC.
Also Icarus gets Willpower when he uses Charge from his Attack SP, thus the lack of push damage on him.
Let's say for Phat, if you roll a 1, that if he has no tokens, I will -1 his Damage. If he has a token I will -1 his DV. But your assumption of AV worked just fine this turn.
Synch takes Beast's SS
Beast Outwits Phat's Toughness.
Oya on Phat, AV10 on DV 16 and I guess +2 for his Trait, which I've been neglecting, and the hindering. Gets 6. It's 5 +1 which lowers his DV -1, but still not enough
Beast Leaps to J14 on Phat, AV10 on DV16 +1. Gets 4.
X-Trainee RCE for +1/+1 on Phat. AV10 on DV16 +2. Gets 10. THere's the hit I've been waiting for. 3 to him is a KO
Surge takes HSS, moves to F15 on SKids, AV10 on DV18. Gets 9. 3 to her. Breakaway 1.
We'll see, but I think I have a better sense of who's winning now.
Beast Outwits Penance's Invulnerable.
Marvel Girl TKs Oya to K16
Oya double targets Iceman and Penance. AV10 on DV17, with +2 for ESD to Iceman. Gets 12 sweet. If she hits both, she can do Penetrating to one and give a token to the other. The Penetrating won't matter, but I'll split the Damage 2 to each and then give the token to Iceman, for a push for a 3rd click.
Synch takes Outwit from Beast, uses it on Banshee's ESD, and attacks, AV9 on DV17. Gets 4.
X-Trainee RCE on Iceman. FOr +1/+1. Shape Change is 5. I can't believe how many Shape Change rolls you've made in the last couple weeks. Way more than the statistical 1 in 3, I'm thinking.
Beast Leap/Climb to F13. Since he moved less than 4, he can make an attack and L/C lets him make a close attack against someone at a different elevation, so on Banshee. AV10 on DV17. Gets 6.
Cypher to K15, protecting Oya and X-Trainee from Outwit
