It looks like fun but I wonder if 150 is too much for that depth of dial and an opening 10 attack. 2 attacks is cool but ranged object attack is 3 damage tops unless you crit. I can get that much out of Nightwing and end up with a perplexing pog. I'll be interested to see how they make it beefy enough to survive.
Just played against this guy. I think he's a contender.
Most people don't consider him viable because of surtur but as I thought of this reply I just remembered the Starfleet security officer exists. So when people were planning on trading their 25 points for 35 points to protect their pap character that plan is easily foiled.
Will Darwin/Surtur/SSO be mandatory in the current meta? i'm starting to think so.
Iceman chase is really one of the only tentpoles that has strong meta implications in new set and I feel most players are more comfortable running Jakeem or Supreme Intelligence right now. But that will change as Darwin starts to cripple Jakeem.
For instance Darwin,Surtur, SSO, and Iceman chase with call ins may completely destroy Jakeem meta. Surtur and Iceman have aoe damage that ends games fast.
I think the reason Darwin/Surtur/SSO works is the 3 figs that comprise the combo are good by themselves as well and can function as call ins for Outwit or TK. Unlike previous Magic bullets who's utility was limited.

Give him Mjolnir. It turns 2 attacks from up to 6 away for 3 damage each into 2 attacks from up to 8 away for 5 damage each top click with no perplex, but you should have some kind of perplex with all the new stuff in XXS on the team to ensure a hit. He is absurd with Mjolnir and support, and some of the recent xmen taxis even get around him having flight.

I had gotten someone to explain it to me and I get it now but am still not sold. While it is cool, that means that 160 is accounted for and you still need tk so you don't lose a turn equipping. Cheapest tk being SI at 12 assuming you have a fair target for SI. Let's say you went Lt. Kyle because he is the cheapest figure with it now you are at 185 for 7 clix of not that hard to hit. If you can keep him safe while acquiring the hammer and then get into position, great but I just can't see him holding any top spot as is.
It's not meta but I want to know if anyone might think it could make it to that point. Rat king from wave 2 tmnt, it's my favorite piece in the entire game but I don't see people play it at all. I think it could be amazing in a well built team.
Also I believe cosmic spiderman is going to see a lot of play if not on the team as a call in piece from id cards.

Sipdey was getting some ID play before until ADW and still until EW then he fell off for better options but post rotation he may make it back in. Hard to say since they crapped on IT; destroys blocking.
That Rat King is good but he needs support and a fair bit of it. With the new Moira prime, he can be even better. Problem is that PaP pieces like GK, Jakeem and Al are still chillin for a while so a simple pick of HSS and Battle Fury means that a 3rd of your team is short lived. Rat King has no real damage to speak of so his MC needs to happen and if it can't that's a big problem. Skeets could be a good possibility to make RK more of a threat with real damage.
