Meta play usually relies on a piece subverting or ignoring certain parts of the game, and while Thanos here has some abuse potential, at the end of the day he's a 200 point beatstick. If Battleworld characters become very popular in the meta, he might see a few appearances, but beyond that, I think there are more potent ways to spend 200 points in Modern.

I can’t wait to pair him with thunderstrike. Healing after taking damage from colossal stamina, or healing twice from SE. just so much good stuff. IDK, something about this dial just really makes me like it. I’m not even a huge Thanos fan, but him and thunderstrike are a match made in heaven
