Thank you for the WIN submission! I have very little luck getting questions through, it seems.
Ditto... that's why I never offer to ask anymore.
-Heroclix is not a game of logic, it's a game of strategy .... after all, when's the last time that you saw a giant (using a stealth ability) that was hiding behind a swingset... and nobody could SEE him????
There doesn’t seem to be any problem understanding that you can pick up an adjacent object immediately prior to beginning your move. Shouldn’t this and the end of move pick up dove-tail?

That is how I see it, but hopefully the WIN folks review it and give us an answer.

That's the same thing we said when peanut bases came out and as written, the rules allowed you to move one side of it, then swing the other side around for an extra square of movement. They clarified it a while after to the effect of what it is today.
That being said, this may be an intentional change (as that was one of the more awkward things to explain to new players) or poorly written... their answer will show us which.

Answered yesterday:

Scenario: A friendly character with no special movement effects moves adjacent to an opposing character who occupies the same square as an object.
Can the moving character pick up the object in question?
No. Once the character enters the adjacent square, its movement ends. Since it is no longer moving, it can't pick up (or put down) an object.
I've completed collecting the IC, CT, XP, CM, Ult, MM, FF, AW, Sin, SN, AVE, M&M, SI, HoT, WoS, GSX, CA, IH, GG, AVM, CW, M10th, ASM, IM3, WK11-16, FI, WX, T:DW, CA:WS, IIM, DoFP, DP, GotG, AoUM, AoU, AVAS NFAoS, CACW, UXM, SFoes, DXF, GotG2, ADW, WI, MT T:RM, AI SW:B, EX, ABPI and X:DPAS sets.
Looking to get PR Professor X (W/X-Men) and pre-release "IC" Wolverine.
So it still works the way it used to. Good to know!

So if I move from F4 to F5 and there is an object in F6, can I pick it up if:
a) I don't need to stop, but I do, just because?
b) I don't need to stop even though there is a character in F6 and I have some sort of enhanced movement that makes it so I don't have to stop?
c) I do need to stop because I have a speed value of 7 and entering F5 is my 7th square moved?
I guess I am trying to get a clear picture of how this works.
Squares that a character “moves through” includes all
squares it occupied during that move, including the square
it began movement in and the square it ends in.
Object Pick Up
Once per move, this character may either pick up one light
object (holding it) or put down one held object, in a square
it moves through or is adjacent to.
So the way I am now reading Object Pick Up is pick up an object in (a) a square it moves through, or (b) a square adjacent to the square it moves through while it continues moving.
Based on that I think the answers to my questions are all "no."
What do you all think? Was the answer from WK meant to say that when you are forced to stop you can't pick something up in a square adjacent to the last one you entered, or is it any time you enter your last square you can't pick stuff up in newly adjacent squares?
They are all yes, you can pick them up. All they're saying is if you're forced to stop, whether you would want to or not, that you can't pick up an object due to moving through that square.

If you move into a square and something forces you to stop moving (typically by becoming adjacent to an opposing character), then you wouldn't be able to pick up an object in the next square.
Moving your speed value does not force you to stop moving. So you can move 7 squares, and then pick up an object in the 8th.
This is not a change in any way. This has been the ruling for a very, very long time.
