I have been contemplating whether to get the Ultra CM or not. Teams like these seem fun and have me leaning towards trying to purchase one.

50 ADW024 Vision
Start with the high move Phasing/Teleport Visions in case of resurrection, as they can deploy the Hulks a second time!
The idea is simple, straightforward: Try to do as much damage as fast as you can without giving up all 300 points. The Visions help deploy the Hulks, and then one Vision plans to stay alive, while Captain Marvel plays aggressively. You have to keep a good eye on points scored, but if the Hulks and Captain Marvel resurrect while the opposing team is very hurt, you may be able to get critically important post-resurrection alpha-strikes that win the game. If you can take out colossal retaliators before resurrection, they can't come back!
I did HORRIBLE with my team at the WKO (1-3), but that is because of three really really bad misplays on my part and also poor die rolls. But c'est la vie, right?
I will make some minor adjustments and try again.
to recap my build:
EAX Cap Res 80
AI Starfox Chase 80
TMT 106 Hulk 50
TMT 106 Hulk 50
AI GG 20
exospex 12
harley's hammer 3
Wolverine Bounty 5 (XXS SR Wolverine)
Troubalerts: WW, Flash, GL
First game:
I went against ADW Hawkeye, FF Giant Girl, AI Giant Girl x 2, mudman, and ADW Iron Man 053.
We both had +5 map roll and I lost. He used the Arthur map and opening move he ID called in a XXS SR Cyclops who took out my Exospex item (I have NO idea why I left it so easy to pick off).
That led to me completely changing my strategy. I was able to use Cap Res to help position my Hulks and Starfox appropriately. Res and Hulks were my main helpers. I mis positioned my Starfox and made it hard on myself to take out the buggest threat to me (Hawkeye). I got him to last click and took out FF GG and AI GG (x1). I left mudman alone and pushed Hulks to swing hard. I missed two attacks on Hawkeye when he was on last click. Hawkeye was able to get some enhancement and bring the hurt. I also crit missed during an attack on his last GG and FORGOT to call in Troubalert. GL or WW could have swung the game for me, maybe.
I lost the match by like 30 or 40 points. It was low scoring. I think it was 62-23 or something.
Second game:
I went against a Starro @ 100, Groot @20, FF penguin, and Starfox with mjolnir. I won map roll and was able to use Undergound caverns to protect me from Starfox for most of the game as well as from Starro. I was able to agress and got Starro low on clicks but kept missing attack rolls. I took out FF penguin and Groot, tho. Starfox rolled out every time I came for him and I mispositioned myself to not be able to effectively call in Wolvie and take down Starro. On last action he ko'ed a hulk (after previously KO'ing GG) and I lost 70-48 (I scored his groot, penguin and call-in).
Third game:
I went against an interesting team of EAX Iron Man SR, EAX Skull, Jakar, and something else (I think). I won map roll and used my positioning much better than before and took out the team. 295-20
Fourth game:
I went against Starro @ 100, Mini-shredder, Groot and walking woods, Unseen and Mirror. I won map roll again and realized that that his Woods were able to effectively pin me down within my cavern walls. I scored a call in I think and he beat Starfox, two hulks and my GG. 200-23 ( i think, bc I took out Groot and he used an ID). I was way too aggressive and poorly positioned myself.I needed to play a game of attrition but was worried about starrophytes moving up and being used to help MC me.
----
IF I could do it again, I would use CMM Phil Coulson Rare instead of Starfox. His positioning would have been much greater for me in bringing both hulks in at once and using Cap to give movements to bring the rain. Phil can call in ID cards too and has point denial bc of his tokens.
I will work on the team some more and try it online in a ROC game and see how I do.
Thanks to everyone who helped me on this thread
Oh, and despite my losses, the venue (Sci Fi Factory in Lake Worth, TX) was amazeballs and the owners and judges were awesome. They made the day so fun for me despite my horrific showing. I felt welcomed and appreciated even though I sucked like a Dyson on steroids.

Sorry to hear it didn't go so well, especially since it appears you used many of my suggestions! Glad you walked away with good information, learned a bit, and still had a great time!

Nah, using your suggestions helped me understand the chemistry of my team and where/how to improve it later on. I will keep tweaking it as it seems fun to me and let you know how it goes.
I used
Coulson R 75
Hulk FF 50
-Exospex 12
Resilient Cap 70
-Octopus Arms 10
Hulk FF 50
Giant Girl FF 10
Giant Girl AI 10
Cyclops Student ID 3
Thought bout dropping a Giant-Girl for 2 more IDs. Giant- Girl brings Exospex to Hulk, Hulk equips, then Coulson carrys Cap and Hulk to arms. Next turn Cap equips arms, clear everyone. You can use Coulson to carry all 3 around plus he has leadership and those damage power tokens. It played pretty good.
Played it against X-Men team of.
Professor X 75
Forge 50
Wolverine 50
Wolverine 50
Lila Cheney 25
Darwin 35
Banshee ID 5
Wolverine ID 5
Boxing Ring 5
Cyclops Student ID
Jean Grey Student ID
Leech Student ID
I lost so switched to.
Overdrive 35
Sam Cap 70
Sam Cap 70
Dr. Strange SF 50 (Phasing start)
Wiz Kid 25
Power Woman 25
Groot 20
Wolverine ID 5
This team beat both X-Men and Avengers theme teams. It relied on Alpha Strike though. Also the teams that fill starting areas screw it over.
So lastly, I pulled out.
Captain Venom 75
Spider- Man Venom 75
- Octopus Arms 10
Venom Hulk 100
Carnage 10
Carnage 10
Groot 20
This team was too powerful for all 3 teams but I wonder how it would do against Avengers Hawkguy and Whales? Really need outwit for Whales. The Hawkeye team goes down fast against triple strike 6,6,5 damage Alpha Strike though.
Saw you decided to add Coulson missed page 2 sorry didn't refresh. Yes he was far superior to Starfox for this build.
That rare Coulson is fantastic. I played a team around him at my own ROC event consisting of:
CMM Coulson 75
ADW Sam Cap 70
ADW Hawkeye 65
EX Cap Resilient 80
Wolverine Bounty ID 5
Cyclops Faculty ID 5
I went 2-1, and destroyed two double-Hulk teams like your own. The first game I took out both Hulks on the first turn (I went second), and in the second game I think I had to wait until the third turn because I wasn’t willing to push him to get the team up the map (I’d only moved up a few spaces first turn because he’d stayed in his starting area). Lost to a team with Flash God of Death, BTAS Zatanna and Superfriends GL and Atom (which would’ve gone much differently if I didn’t miss 3 chances to roll a 6 and KO Flash God with my Cyclops call-in).
