This is one of my favorite clix from rebirth, and a dial design I'd really like to pat wizkids on the back for. It simultaneously is incredibly simple (a single, easy to understand trait) while being a dial with very few if no weaknesses. It's got good stats, outwit protection, attack avoidance, damage reduction/top dial invincible, high mobility, late-dial healing, and great keywords.
While maybe it doesn't quite fit your criteria because of the trait, I just wanted to point out again how much wizkids knocked this dial out of the park in an old-school way.
Yeah, I really like dials that have Standard Powers as SPs and traits, and I don't really mind IT & IM either.
3 standard move powers: Charge, Flurry, & Plasticity to represent her AND her lasso.
Her lasso is basically standard equipment and would be hard to show with one power.
I miss the simplicity of old Clix so much. If it was still like that, I would still be playing.
There were a lot of stinkers, but if the modern accurate designs were applied to the simple old rules (no cards, characters can get weaker over time, stats don't need to be optimized), the game would be awesome.
Here were some I think they nailed right off the bat:
He was in my first pack. It's all I can expect from Cyclops except leadership, but X-men team takes it's place.
Perfect.
Perfect x2.
The original chase figure
For the first few sets, most figures could only do one thing. This was the first figure who felt versatile.
My Man!
He wasn't as good as he could be, but I felt like Fury when using him. He was a sneaky leader who relied on his people. Nowadays he has complicated powers, high attack values, and 3 damage. Just because "everyone else has them." I hate that. I liked it when normal humans felt like normal humans.
Speaking of normal humans, this is my all time most used figure. Kingpin teams for life!
So fun and so accurate
Unlike clix today, most characters used to get weaker. Hulk getting stronger was a unique gimmick. They nailed it right off the bat.
I love how he loses the gun. I don't need to read anything to know how the character is changing. Modern clix would make you read a special power for the first few clicks that says "Hellboy has a range of 6"
When I saw this Gamora dial, I was immediately hit with nostalgia. Literally all you need the card for is keywords. Probably not the best Gamora you can play, but still reasonable for her points.
Silver Sable's only trait applies to team building, in that she can be on any named theme team.
This guy was my go-to piece for the longest time. Decent dial length, not too many points, and his second click was nearly as good as the first if I needed to push.
He takes a MASSIVE dip at the end of his dial, but this is pure Miguel to me. I love the ASM version, but it has that weird Mjolnir stuff that didn't happen until after his series actually ended, so this is my definitive Miggy until something else comes along.
It seems like you guys dont mind about pink powers.
Tell me why I should incorporate pink powers without incorporate special powers or indominatable and other things
Because you don't need a card to understand Pink Powers. It's all on the dial. They're not complicated abilities either. They fit nicely into the old game.
