An easier combo to pull off that is a lot like the one you said is using Wall of Reavealing Light when Jowgen the Spiritualist is on the field and paying all life points but one thousand, then play last turn and with Jowgen you win!
If every card was legal you could play cheerful coffin to discard winged dragon of ra and a card you dont care for then bring back ra with monster reborn then play last turn face down an pay 7000 lp to increase ra's attack to 7000 then play bait doll activating last turn and your opponent will have to produce a monster with 7000 or more attack points which i probably don't believe that your opponent will be able to produce a monster of such power so you would win.
or...an easier combo would be this:
woodland sprite+the new...archfiend of gilfer=pwn. gilfer says SENT. whenever it is SENT to the graveyard, u can attach it to ANY monster and decrease it's attack by 500. well...when archfiend is equiped, it is treated as an equip spell, so it counts. the combo is legit.
EDIT:
The reasoning:
Since Gilfar's effect is optional, it cannot resolve in between effects that have to be resolve (read DMoC v. Dimensional Magic, Pinchhitting Grasshopper)

LMAO... I actually use that in casual play, except for the bait doll (won't work.. Last Turn must be played on the opponent's turn remember).

This combo won't work since, because Gilfar Demon is an optionally activated Cemetary effect, it MUST be the VERY LAST event to occur in order to activate. If it gets interrupted by anything (say...Woodland Sprite's damage effect), you will NOT have the option of activating it.
Woodland Sprite --> send Gilfar to the cemetary ---> inflict 500 LP damage to opponent
other combo's that won't work
Magic Jammer cost --> discard Gilfar to the Cemetary --> Magic Jammer negates magic card
Tribute to the Doomed --> discard Gilfar to the Cemetary --> destroy monster
and there are others
as for this

Marshmellon, Soul Banisher, Jowls of Dark Demise, etc can kill it.
you r not allowed to get gilfered's effect if u discard it from a card that effect would happen following his being sent to the graveyard. like if u discard it with magic jammer you would not get his effect because after he is sent to the graveyard the effect of magic jammer stops a spell card and therefore you would not be able to get his effect.

even if ra was legal playing bait doll on last turn doesnts work last turn has to be played on your opponents turn
woodland sprite and butterfly dagger elma. thats game :p
This is EXTREMELY old news, but Woodland Sprite and Elma are NOT legal to use because of the timing. Because Elma must be equipped and DESTROYED and sent to the graveyard in order for it to return to the hand.
Woodland Sprite only SENDS the equip to the graveyard which is NOT the same as destroying it (otherwise, it'd state it) so you will only get 500 LP damage for Woodland Sprite and Elma will STAY in the graveyard. And, no, you CANNOT use Woodland Sprite with Gilfar Demon either.
here's an update wizard there has been a rule that was made that states that now you can only play elma once per turn. so if it did work you would only use it once per turn.

Where did you here that??? There's no such ruling made on Elma.
Rulings
If the monster that "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" is equipped to is destroyed, then it cannot return to your hand because it is no longer equipped to a monster.
While "Imperial Order" is active, if "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, it can return to your hand.
When you activate "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" and your opponent chains "Mystical Space Typhoon", it cannot return to your hand.
When "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" is "sent to the Graveyard" without being "destroyed", such as with "Woodland Sprite", it cannot return to your hand.
If "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" is negated and destroyed by "Ryu Senshi" or "Freed the Matchless General", it cannot return to your hand.
Because "Butterfly Dagger - Elma"'s effect is optional, "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" being sent to the Graveyard has to be the very last thing that happened in order for you to activate its effect. So if it is destroyed in the middle of a chain, you cannot return it to your hand. Example: If Player A activates "Pot of Greed", and Player B chains "Mystical Space Typhoon" to destroy "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" during the chain, it cannot return to the owner's hand.
While "Morale Boost" is active, if you equip "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" to "Gearfried the Iron Knight", 1) Increase your Life Points for "Morale Boost", 2) destroy "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" with "Gearfried the Iron Knight"'s effect, 3) inflict damage for "Morale Boost" when "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" is sent to the Graveyard, 4) the owner of "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" can return it to his/her hand.
When "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" is destroyed by "Gearfried the Iron Knight"'s effect, you can chain to this effect with "Really Eternal Rest" and destroy "Gearfried the Iron Knight", and "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" will be destroyed because "Gearfried the Iron Knight" was destroyed, so "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" cannot return to the owner's hand.
If "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" is destroyed during the Damage Step, such as by the effect of "Cliff the Trap Remover", you cannot activate the effect that returns "Butterfly Dagger - Elma" to the hand.
With that being said... is it the same for Night Assassin? Does it also have to be the last on the chain for you to get a Filp back?
