Yeah, i am probably going to swap them for either an aqua maiden and book of moon, or book of moon, and another scape goat. Havent decided yet. I am leaning towards the aqua maiden though. What do ya'll think?
-raigeki
-monster reborn
+aqua maiden
+book of moon
or
+book of moon
+scapegoat
or
+salvage
+aqua maiden
So many combos.....(sigh)...what to do, what to do???
You should think about running a gravity bind or two since a legendary ocean downs all water monsters a level. Only the tributes on your side of the field wouldn't be able to attack, but everything else could. Or Level Limit Area B also so their high attackers get put in defense and then you can smash them with your water monsters that get around level limit.
I tried this in my water deck and it works good.
Also try a Jowls of Dark Demise: Flip and take control of one of your opponents monsters till the end of the turn and that monster can attack your opponents life points directly, Works very well when you flip it yourself.
salvage and book were the way I was leaning. I was also thinking of just going ahead and putting all three in.
vampyrebyte: while jowls has a nice effect, it is a little unreliable as far as flipping it myself. unless of course I am running a llab, but I am not sure I can fit that in. maybe a couple of great side deck items though. nice idea
understand the idea, but not comfortable with mermaid knight. I used to run her, and even though she can attack twice, she can be a horendous topdeck. thanks though.
You might consider using a gravity Bind in your deck, using the legendary ocean to get ur 4 stars down there, and then bugroth werks well with that as well. but keep an mst handy, for when u wanna get ur big dudes out.
OH, sorry bout the double post, but i remembered, if u do want to go the gravity bind route, u will need the whole orca and torpedo fish thingy... i noticed that you had a total of zero of them buggers in there, and they work wonders for my UMI deck, course, mine is a bit more traditional... but anyways... gj
just wanted to give ya'll an update. I came in second this week. but only because of a teeny, tiny, miniscule, error. After a cyber jar was activated, I got a phone call from my roomate, and I set my hand aside, and FORGOT ABOUT IT!!!!! so was basically topdecking, and I lost the final match. DOH!!!!!!! <slaps forhead, HARD>
one last thing, this was an advanced deck in a traditional environment. it can be done, advanced beating traditonal. I will revel in my second place glory. there were a grand total of 13 people in this tournament. happy dueling.
