>>I have a regular sized d6 thats inside of a larger clear d6. Is that legal? From what I can tell, it rolls pretty randomly....>>
Dude! Those dice are soooo sketchy. I have a friend who uses those, and whenever we play an actual game where we care what happens, we totally don't let him use them, as they roll 6's *way* too often.
As long as it isn't weighted inside and has six sides that are all even, then it doesn't matter according to math and stats. But WizKids has a tendency to want players to always use their dice. (To help preclude arguments.)

Really....?
I use them often enough, and I seam to miss as often as hit...while I don't recall ever rolling a 2 with them, I haven't rolled a 12 either.
Watch how he rolls it next time....that might have something to do with it....

Quit yer whinin....
As long as your opponent doesn't object, then you can use any dice you want. Just be aware that your opponent has the right to insist that you use official WK dice....
Around here (my area) the WK are notorious for sucking like an Irish-Catholic family of wet-dry vacs! Most dice are biased, not on purpose, but usually just simple manufactering errors. Some dice DO roll better or worse. It is also a little known fact that heads is for some reason just slightly easier to flip on a coin. (possibly do to the amount of raised surface on the tails side, I don't know) I've flipped a coin 30 time in a row and gotten tails EVERY SINGLE TIME! I've played games where I roll 3 or more fumbles in the first 2 turns! (The worst is when you push, then fumble AARGH!) Dice do roll differently anything from airbubbles inside to misscut sides can affect them. The whole rolling all those dice before choosing could actually be a psychological disorder thing though. If dice i'm using suck i'll simply change to a different set.
Heh I'll use my chinese dice. (They have the chinese characters for 1-6 on them). THAT'LL throw my opponent for a loop Heh.. they're technically legal. They still roll random numbers from 2-12

"No, really. Those ARE 2 6s showing. Just ignore that they look different...."
lol there all 6's! (when i want em' to be). I've had a set of those clear red dice from Vegas. They are huge! And razor sharp! You could go hunting with those things! They are also loaded as hell!
Hey, Billy Jack. Thump that kid on the head once for me, as well. See, the chances are that if you roll, say, a critical miss, the odds are against rolling snake eyes again. So, even though the 10-yr-old may not be thinking this process through, if he keeps rolling between turns until he gets that critical miss, and then waits until his turn to go again, he is more likely to roll a combination in his favor.
(Before anyone argues w/ this, it really is true that when rolling a pair of 6d, the odds are always against rolling the same combination twice in a row.)
