Teen Titans #3: While Outsiders really hasn't done anything for me, TT has really caught my eye. The artwork is outstanding. I liked the art on Young Justice OK, but Impulse, Superboy and Robin all had the same build with different costumes. In TT, each member has a distinct look and size, including the towering Starfire. The writing thus far has also been superb, with plenty of tangental plot points thrown in to be picked up on later (Superboy's true origin, Wonder Girl's visions). This issue did an excellent job of highlighting the differing opinions and motives of the different members...the senior members Starfire and Cyborg are more cautious with the younger members, with Beast Boy caught somewhere in-between. Wonder Girl and Superboy are on the same wavelength, and Robin is intent on doing his own thing, just like his "boss".
JLA - The Burning part 2.: So here's my line of thinking on this, warning, spoilers ahead...
The Burning is an ancient Martian who was exiled from Mars because, among other things, he was immune to flame, and thus would have been a religious outcast. On Earth, he hunts primitive humans until being killed by Vandal Savage. However, it's "ghost" continues to haunt the world. Flash forward to now, and Earth's only resident Martian, the Manhunter, is an unsuitable host mind for the burning, becauuse he is vulnerable to flame. However, when J'onn finally beats this weakness, he unwittingly becomes vulnerable to the Burning. So now, not only does the JLA have to fight a possessed MM, but J'onn himself will have to fight an internal stuggle to free himself from the Burnings control.
Or something like that.

[Does that jive with current continuity?]
actually i am not too sure, i read the old series but it's been years since i read titans. Heck the last book i read when Jerricho was alive a kicking. But your right now that i think of it it looks like raven. Oh and I loved that whole thing where the knee wants to heal but it needs guidance, anyhow it's a great read either way.
