ok let go in reverse order. first thanks to all that posted it was appreciated. I will rate fix your decks as well.
now dragon king I understand your point of veiw (and what you were saying because I dont have zamborg in this deck) the thing is I dont find zamborg that useful. its effect only hits once and they have to have a monster to begin with. chaos sorcerer has just proven himself worthy in my eyes. it hits hard and can remove threats stronger than it. silent swordsman lv 5 is immune to 50% of your removal and cards that have effects such as stall.
spell I get those changes as well. I might even try them but I am finding it rather hard to aquire 1 dd assailant and I really like my silent swordsman lv 3's ability to search for my lv 5.
jamal I am actually thinking about dust tornado in the side deck. and I dont know I like my silent swordsmans. they bring an aspect to my game that is unexpected. I might consider running blade knight but I would just add him and put myself at 42. I prefer the swordsmans over airknight because airknight is a bit to powerful and I dont want it used against me. atleast the swordsmans cant be used against me.
lordkamon I get the fixes and I thank you for them but i find that I sit on my smashing grounds alot and that it isnt needed that often. two would just be overkill. I might replace the vortex with it though. not to sure on that one. a second metamorph doesnt fit the deck. I am not even sure that the first one does but it does seem to work out well. I have found that shinning angel is inconsistant and even with the idea that I could book of moon mage of faith it presents the problem that I just wasted a card to get a card. it gives no advantage. also book of moon could be negated and that would hurt. apprentice mage solves this need for book and places the mage of faith or hand of nephthys face down. I dont have to worry about it.
enemy controller I have found to work very well. I can get a monster to tribute by using scapegoat. it has proven to be a worth while card in my eyes. rota works so well in speeding up my deck even with only four warriors. exiled force still has the ability to remove face down cards. we lost a lot of cards that can do that so I think this card helps. I think that the problems you see with this deck is over a long period of time rota will be a bad top deck with having nothing to search but I usually end the duel well before I draw to that point in the game.
In that case, why not run BLS. Way better than Sorcerer beacuse its effects are more versatile. What I am saying that Sorcerer is not versatlive. No priority if I get to bTH the sorceror unlike soldier.....Get what I'm aiming at
its effect does have priority and I do run BLS. I run both. I know that bls is better in everyway but I run both. and chaos sorcerer has its good points. it gets rid of monsters that might cause some problems. and yes its effect has turn priority and it doesnt have to be face up on the field for me to get its effect either.
First of all I like this deck. I like the silent swordsman aspect, however I don't know how many times you will be able to protect the lv 3 so that it can level up. If it is working then leave it in, but otherwise you may want to try a blade knight over it. Also, I personally do not like don zaloog, but would rather use a Zombyra the Dark over it. Zombyra will kill most beatsticks people play as well as kill airknights and vampire lords.
For the spells, I know you said you don't care for brain control, but I think it would work well in this deck, especially with the hand and the phoenix. Since you said that lightning vortex isn't working for you, you could put the brain control over that or the metamorphisis.
well for the most part I dont have a problem with protection for lv3. Also I have tried out blade knight and I have to say that I am not impressed with it. it is only a good card in low hand situations and I am usually never in that situation. (or atleast I never draw blade knight when I am in that situation) I am liking the suggestion of zombra the dark but I wouldnt ever take out don zaloog. don zaloog has four very good aspects about him. He is a warrior, his atk is high enough to do some damage but low enough to get under bottomless trap hole, he is very useful in low hand situations forcing my opponent into top decking, and his second effect allows me to continue to hurt my opponent even if they dont have a hand. zombra is a decent piece of tech though so I might consider that card. thanks for the rate fix

so-
-1 Apprentice (even with three things to get i feel 2 hurts more than helps)
+1 tsuku (thing is broken, you'll see, over and over again)
-1 Chaos sorceror (soldier is enuff, too much remove from play these days)
+1 blade knight (nothing wrong with em at all, unlike asura)
-1 exiled force
+1 ddassailant (exiled jus hurts more than helps believe me, this is better removal)
i think airknight would provide more advantage than SS5 esp. since i've noticed a decline in spell removal, but hey run whatcha wanna!
-1 controlla/book (i like to go one and one, it covers all bases, i think that space could be used for a more versatile card)
+1 meta (this card works wonders, and you have 1's, a 5 and 8's for morphing)
smashing/vortex, if u find vortex doesn't work for ya i suggest just going with another smashing.
+sakeratsu (again one and one covers all bases, till you can s/d)
royal decree? but you have Phoenix destroying everything? including decree? and decree can hurt you more often then it does help, oh decree? you stopped my M.Force but now i know i can bring out BLS or whomever, safely.
I agree that royal decree has the ability to hurt me but it is there when I want to stop a mirror force or bottomless trap hole. this way I still can keep my pheonix after she blows up the spell/traps on the field. Tsukuyomi is not broken. although I have been thinking af putting her back in to my deck.
1) Since you don't seem to like them try taking out Meta and Vortex for a second Book of Moon (it works nicely with Crossout, your magician of Faiths, and low dfence monsters) and a second Smashing Ground (it's a better topdeck for one and more removal is always fun).
2) I'm thinking you could take out Lvl 5 and add in two Blade Knights or D.D Assailants if you can get them. That would give you 42 cards too. Blade Knights are light (and thus more chaos food) and when they're alone they can take out Flips nicely. They also make for good topdecks. While Assailants are earth, I think they would work well in the deck.
3) I can't think of much else, maybe finding room for another Bottomless perhaps. Other than that the rest of the deck looks solid. if have the time could take a look at the deck in my sig? Good luck at the Seattle SJC.
you are the first to ask why asura was in my deck. yes to an extent it is anti goat control. but really it is anti meta. the meta now a days runs with apprentice magician pyrmaid turtle shinning angel mystic tomato and other searchers. this card allows me to run over most of what they can summon as you know.
Also I dont have any dd assailants. they are not easy to obtain and I dont feel like trading an arm and a leg for one.
Hello,
With 4 sac monsters/special condition summoning, you should run 1 more monster. Kycoo. Anti-chaos, anti-meta, pro-annoying most of the time.
take out a book of moon or a EC. 2 of either combination of the 2. ( a book and EC, or 2 EC's should do) that will do for space.
-1 EC or BoM
+1 Kycoo
You dont run jinzo, but I kind of still dont insist on the trap negation, all you do is delay the enevitable. Add in a magic drain, this thing is lethal, i kid you not.
For you opponent, Pot of Greed now takes 2 cards to draw 2 cards, with MD.
(pot of greed and if the discard a spell card) MD is free to use, no cost, maybe not chainable, but I enjoy it to high heaven. Promotes confusion for your opponent.
-1 Royal Decree
+1 Magic Drain
All i can think of now. KIT.
Thank you,
Azurai Aeon
Thanks for the rate fix jason. I already gave you some suggestions on your deck. anyways I get the power of magic drain but I find that I dont like running a lone MD. I would prefer them in pairs and I dont have the room for that. also I dont know about removing my royal decree. mainly because I choose to run back and forth between decree and dust tornado. both are very effective in their own ways.
Also while I do like kycoo (side decked him didnt I) I dont think that he is worthy enough to run in a main deck. If I can get dd assailant I might put that card in but it isnt easy to get.
I still havent found a use for blade knight. I have tried him in singles and I have to say that I was unimpressed. It relied too much on bad situations.
now I like lv 5 alot (it actually took a lot of convicing to remove lv 3) its effect is very useful. The idea that it is unaffected by all my opponents spell cards is great. it covers so much with that effect. it cant be taken with creature swap enemy controller snatch steal brain control and monsters that become spells. (it is a good defense against creature swap as they cant take any of my monsters while he is face up) it cant be destroyed by smashing grounds lightning vortex, it can atk under swords of revealing light. it is not affected by cards like level limit, toll, gravekeepers servent, book of moon, swords of concealing light, soul exchange, messenger of peace, ect. what this card is not affected by far exceeds what it is affected by.
think about it. I am not going to be playing just chaos deck at shonen jump. I will be playing a lot of variations to gravekeepers, archfiends, burn, zombie, dragon, horus, recusion, exodia, alo. I am not going to a shonen jump with a deck that is designed to only combat chaos. that is suicide. I am going to shonen jump with a deck that can combat almost every deck equally. this deck makes that point and my side deck touches on the weaknesses that it might have. it also turns my deck into another suprise for the other duelist. they wont know what hit them. first duel they are playing a well built chaos deck, next turn they are dueling a completely opposite anti special summoning deck. this gives me an advantage over them because when you side deck against me you are expecting a chaos deck and need special summoning to combat it. you will then be looking at a deck that doesnt allow special summoning (except during the battle phase)
I beg to differ. NJ SJC, from what Ive read about from Morpheus, Agentmage, and all the rest of my friends who attended that SJC they literally told me it was, as Morpheus similarly quoted: Chaos Pride Convention.
Its up to you, dont expect to see as much diversity in decks as you think.
Almost every meta has one thing in common: They want to win.
Thank you, again.
