VLord-thanks! as far as fixes tho, i didn't go with reaper and the third goat b/c i expect tramplers to be on the rise, if im gonna get hit i want to gain something from it, hence apprentice. tho i've ponderin giving him a second try. when i run 3 goats i get stuck with multiple copies, and again tramplers running rampant, asura is starting to pick up too. i don't know why tho, i think asura doesn't provide enuff advantage to be maindecked. if only it wasn't a spirit....thanks for posting!

i've been contemplating night assailants, i often find myself graceful-in' multiple times and seeing where some assailants would totally pwn. so im gonna give em a try. i see why luc was running em now. i might also give reaper a second run see how he works out.
I very much agree with the usefulness of Night Assailants. They are great right now. However, I don't think that would be at maximum effectiveness if just splashed in here. I think that a couple extra flip monsters are needed for them to work well. Luc was running Slates, for example.

Trample won't take over the metagame, and won't win. Game 2 and 3 is yours for sure if you play trample and have a good side deck. You run 2 Tribs and a spirit, you need a defense. If you are afraid of trample, go Mid-Shield Gardna. It has a decent (1800) defense, and is a NoC lure. The reason I like it better than Big Shield Gardna is because it goes to defense not attack. Think about the monsters people use and the attack: Enraged (1700), Blade Knight (mostly 1600), Breaker (1600 w/o counter), D.D. Assailant (1700), D.D. Warrior Lady (1500), Tribe (1600), Asura (1700), and Don 1400). His defense is higher than all of those. A 3rd goat in hand is great. If you get in a tight spot, then you can use it, or you can use it as a discard for Duo. I mean, if you already have one holding on the field and don't need the goat, then you are going to have an excessive hand. Asura is great. All good decks are going to run 2-3, most running 3. If they have a face down goat, Asura Priest is going to do one of two things: Get a Direct Attack (1700) because the opposing player does not want to lose all 4 goats to one monster, or the opposing player activates them and you kill all of them with Asura, leaving a Direct attack with your other monsters... Its all up to you, I'm just trying to help.
ZAQ-well yeah of course i was gonna add at least one more flip, i'm jus working on finding the space lol. i don't want to lose the offensive theme of the deck tho, so its tough choice. trying to get some play in today so....
VLord-im not sayinbg its gonna take over, but its def gonna becoming more popular, esp. in my meta. i don't wanna lose the Books for a third goat. Mid guardna isn't sounding too bad, worth giving some testing, b/cv of getting ready for that SJC TLM has slipped my mind. im gonna keep asura in the side tho, i don't see enuff goats, 2 is meta round here, if i ever do decide to maindeck the Asura tho, the third goats prolly would come in, for when the spirits run away. i don't know testing needs to happen.
