Maybe, but I've only got 5 monsters to use Metamorphosis on to get out TER. I do, however, have Tsukuyomi, Metamorphosis, and Scapegoat in my side deck for added goat control. But the Smashing Grounds do provide constant field control (which Relinquished can't do alone). I also just updated my deck and side deck. Thank you!
I think Magical Hats would be an interesting addition to this deck. So your opponent has attacked into your Apprentice Magician and you've grabbed a Magician of Faith. On your turn flip Magician of Faith and grab whatever you need out of your graveyard. Set Magical Hats and end your turn. When your opponent attacks your Magician play Magical Hats flipping Magician of Faith face down and grab two Dark Coffins. Whatever your opponent attacks you gain a card in advantage and at the end of the turn both of the Dark Coffins will be destroyed helping you out even more.
Oh, nice, Denfrenzy, nice! Didn't think about Magical Hats. I'll playtest it. As for you, spell, Metamorphosis probably won't go in my deck unless I'm in absolute need for control of the game. Swords has saved my butt several times but will take out the Lightning Vortex as you suggested. Thank you! Anyone else?
Thanks, I'll consider it. However, Swords is an excelent top - deck and, even though that rarely hapens, I like to have some protection in case Gravity Bind and Level Limit - Area B is Destroyed or to just laugh at them when they have a Cyber Dragon in hand.
I, too, am going to suggest Metamorphosis / Thousand-Eyes Restrict, if only for the theme's sake.
An interesting surprise I've found which works well with both Relinquished and TER is an Equip Spell called Opti-Camoflauge Armor, which allows any Level 1 monster to attack the opponent directly. Since both Relinquished and TER are Level 1 monsters and they can pump up their ATK scores rather quickly, you can do a a good amount of damage to your opponent when they don't expect it.
Also, if you find your opponent isn't summoning strong enough monsters for you, there's always Lava Golem (leave it to me to suggest a Fire monster). It gets rid of two monsters at once, and you can either absorb it for a 1-star 3000-ATK behemoth or just leave it there to burn your opponent into nothing.
Unfortunately, I'm very bad at figuring out what to remove to make room for new cards, so I'm going to leave that to the smarts of you and the others here on the boards. I'm also bad at rating things; suffice to say that this deck looks good as is, and its track record can speak for itself.
Can you look at the Fire deck in my sig? It needs all the help it can get!
I would love to do that but, I have little to no room for Opti-Camoflage Armour. Not to mention no way to seek it out. I DO, however, have the TER/Tsukuyomi combo in my side deck. The only problem is I have never had to use it. I hope it goes well...... Anyone else?
