Bump. I'm going to see if I can get an Amazoness Swords Woman to fill the final spot in my side deck. Please tell me if there is anything better to use in that spot.
My reasoning behind her is : first set against Stein OTK=GG
I think it's worth siding her just for that.
the tributes that you have are hurting you because you run them wrong. I realize that field presence is key to winning and I like the sandmoths but really I think that you main decked a lot of cards that are better for side decks.
also I hope to see you there. thinking about running my archfiend deck there. If I dont run that deck that possibly my soulless spellcaster deck.

And by that you mean Sand Moth Kycoo and Goldd?
The cards I have work. When I was talking about my tributes before, that was when I was running 2 Mobius in the main deck. Goldd is surprisingly simple and versatile, and contributes to Strike Ninja. If I drop the Goldds, then Strike Ninja must be moved as well (leaving him with a maximum of 10 darks is a little meh).
2 Kycoos did a little better than 2 Dekoichi. He is insanely good in here for the counterattack.
Now I'm thinking about a Wildheart instead of Amazoness in the side deck. ...hmmm.
I was also thinking about siding 1 Sand Moth, but so far he is God when people don't know he's coming. And almost none do.
upon further inspection of this deck I noticed that you only have three cards to get rid of spell and trap cards. so basically burn and sakuretsu armors are going to eat you alive. Goldd doesnt really count because of how situational it is. it has to be discarded from your hand by your opponents effect the same time that they have spell or traps on the field. against burn decks this wont happen. the new age warrior toolbox yeah it will maybe once or twice. you need some dust tornados to combat snatch steal and stuff.
The way this deck is played means that I usually have multiples monsters on the field, and with Sand Moth they will sometimes be face-down. It plays very defensively except for the powerful counterattack (made after a defensive trap springs through my opponent's offensive), which is made by D.D. Assailant, Breaker, Kycoo, etc. or my 2 big guys whoever they may be. 3 Sakuretsus and 1-2 Widespreads are what decks NEED to fight this deck off. Not to mention large monsters, which is why it has a decent amount of trouble against a good Soul Control/Monarch deck. I'm still trying to make it more versatile, not stream-line it into a cookie that is easy enough to counter and defeat. It needs versatility to adapt to whatever situation I may encounter.
I tried Dust Tornadoes in here and didn't like them too much. M/T destruction isn't really as necessary as people think it is, surviving it is what matters. It's all about field presence.
I am, however, thinking I need more m/t removal (or Trunades) in my side deck to fight off Burn and the like if I come across any. But I am not going to give up any space devoted to my anti-OTK or counter cards.
Also, in the side deck I have been trying Twin-Headed Behemoth and I really like him but I'd like to try a second MSL2. Maybe instead of Morphing Jar. I'll try Dust Tornados in the side deck instead of CED's.
And some of your points are reasons that I am still deciding whether to side or main deck the Goldds or the Mobius'. Goldd has been hit by Reapers on multiple occasions, Don, and Thestalos twice--turned the game around. For that reason and the reason that the opponent may not be M/T crazy, I think that Mobius is better in round 2 than round 1 unless it is against a burn/stall obviously. (They will probably side-deck out any Don Zaloogs and will be wary to use Reaper)
But burn/stall is not common at all.
Thanks for your insight.
OMGzorz!! I'm going to make it (hopefully)!! I need any suggestions I can before the last minute. So far this deck is running beautifully with the exception of some struggling against Soul Control. I'm iffy on siding Morphing Jar and E-Hero Wildheart but they work right now.

All right I'm not going to hear any of your suggestions until after the SJC unless you post in the next few minutes; I need to get a good amount of sleep to prepare for the event.
