i would choose ddwl, simply so u can get rid of spirit reaper when he's in ur way...

...or Tomato, or Treeborn, etc.....yeah, go with DDWL over Assailant.

I would go with D. D. Warrior Lady for a number of reasons.

1. You can chose whether or not you want to use her effect. Since you can chose D. D. Warrior Lady can help you get rid of Sangan and Mystic Tomato.

2. D. D. Warrior Lady can be searched out by Sangan, Shining Angel and Reinforcements of the Army, while D. D. Assialant can only be searched out by Reinforcements.

3. You don't have to wait for your opponent to attack to remove a monster.

There are a few other things that come to mind, but these are the big drivers for why I think D. D. Warrior Lady is superior to D. D. Assailant.

Yep..all those reasons as why people never gave D. D. Assailant the time of day when she wasn't restricted to 1...despite so many denying it.

Alright I will try it but with so many monsters such as blade knight and goblin elite running around, I wont be able to run them over now.

To be perfectly honest, it depends on your meta. For example, alot of my meta revovles around some kind of beatsticks, depending on the attack of the monsters used D.D Assailnt could be acknolwedged as better however.

lets consider the following.

All Assailant has over D.D is 200 attack boost ( we are assuming this from a Non-earth/ Non-Light deck point of view.) Because D.D share types.

Now D.D assailant guaratees field presence, and thats all she does.
D.D Warrior Lady however has many purposes thus its versatile. She can Remove bigger threats( so can D.D Assailnt), but even more important that big threats, she can remove that little ones. The one that are annoying and you rather not waste resource on, such as Reapers, Tomatoes, Sangan. The ability to choose her removal allows you to negate( in a way) several effects. Its weakness also allows it to be super search able by Last Will, Rota, Shining Angel, Sangan, while D.D Assailant only has Rota.

What else.. ah yes. D.D Warrior Lady optional removal is also good for some ohte things. Sometimes your opponent will kamikaze a useless monster they wont/ wont need at the moment such as Mobius, Zaborg, or things that have already paid their maintance cost, if you know what i mean. Sometimes they will even play Beserk gorrila to smack her, and sometimes we want to save the removal for something more important, or we just want to use the monster for something else such as Pot of Avarice, Chaos Sorcerer/Gigantees, Chaos Necromance (underrated), premature burial, Call of the hautend, etc. So We can use choose not to remove D.D while assailnt has no choice.

Bottom Line: If your meta specializes in using monsters under 1700, go with Assailnt, otherwise, D.D Warrior Lady is your gal.

And all those things are pretty much why D. D. Warrior Lady is restricted
