The opponent declares the attacks, not the monsters. the monsters carry out the attacks. so if the opponent cannot declare an attack then wildheart's effect really doesn't matter.
I understand that. Im not going to rehash a dead argument. Suffice it to say there was a different interpretation that could have been weened based on comparative rulings.
But its cool. So long as there is a consistent way to rule it now, and there wont be mixed rulings from different judges here and there.
He's referencing from when you and I told everybody about the Last Will ruling from Dan and Kevin.
We were giving out the ruling having heard it from them, but nobody would take our word for it because it wasn't posted anywhere and thus being "unofficial." In the minds of many, if it's not online or in print, it's not worth much. He's just comparing these two situations.
Correcto =P

Yes, Last Will's errata has been posted, but since the specific ruling for Wildheart vs. Threatening Roar hasn't been posted on the list or FAQ it's still being "debated" and no "official" word has been given to the masses (even thought we know better).
Noone says otherwise, my only "point" for this is that players get esceptical about this sorts of situations and debates tend to get huge, even though a head judge has the final wording (speaking of a tournament), players can still debate against it, even between judges conflicts can arise without some written facts.
We here don't have to argue as we are all under the same page, but this is "us"... ^_^
