naru, not to be rude, but read my post. really, read it. do you see what it says?

cyber dragon "[requirement], you can special summon this card from your hand"

cyber dragon specifically mentions the hand, but thats the default location for special summons anyway. otherwise their text is structured identically.

cards only say stuff like "this card cannot be normal summoned or set." when they can't be normal summoned (duhhh) and they only say "this card cannot be special summoned except.." when they are nomi.

i never said that either was the case. i pointed out that it is an optional method of special summoning him. which it is. and stated that it should function the same as cyber dragon. meaning that it is not an effect, its a summon. and likewise you shouldn't be able to negate the special summon with divine wrath (just like cyber dragon, since its a summon not an effect) and that you should be able to negate the special summon with solemn judgement or horn of heaven (just like cyber dragon, since its a summon and not a monster effect)

the "CAN" in its text just means that you don't have to special summon it when you resolve a counter trap, just like cyber dragon, you are not forced to special summon cyber dragon when your opponent has a monster(s) and you don't. its not an optional trigger effect that can miss its timing.

i'm sorry if i just came off a bit defensive, but seriously you must have read the first 2 lines of my post, ignored what those lines actually said, assumed what the rest of my post must have said, then quoted my post and said that what i didn't say was wrong. technically your post was correct, that is what his text says, and it doesn't have the nomi text, but seriously................what does that have to do with my post?
