Blast with Chain has been long since errata'ed so it merely becomes an "Equip Card", not "Equip Magic Card".
So Wildman will NOT get the 500 ATK increase, but it will STILL get its effect if destroyed by another card effect (since that has nothing to do with affecting Wildman unless it happens to be its destruction target)
Has it been considered in a Horus build. Most Horus builds always have Royal Decree. But if Hours were to be used for defensive purposes (which it seems to always be for) with Wildheart doing most of the offense, I think it can work well enough.
I'm not saying use Wildheart with Royal Decree. I was saying use Horus with Wildheart with no Royal Decree. Have Horus for spell defense while using Wildheart for offense. That way there will be room in the trap lineup for other traps without flooding the deck with Royal Decrees and no other traps.
but you'd have to remember that there are different types of traps out there besides ones that activate during the battle phase, so a horus deck wouldn't get it's full potential with just wildheart.
Battle Phase? That doesn't matter since Wildheart is unaffected by Traps, period. And what exactly is the full potential of a Horus deck? I thought the primary idea was to negate spells.
Yeah...it doesn't matter when they activate...what matters is what they affect...if anything were to affect a monster(s) then Wildman is unaffected...if it affects the players, that's a whole other story
what i meant was yeah wildheart is unaffected by traps but your Horus is wide open to many types of traps. i guess i shouldn't have said traps that activate exclusively during the battle phase. horus is still open to needle ceiling, torrential tribute and compulsavory evacuation device just to name a few. and the full potential of a Horus deck IMO is to stop anything an opposing player can do so you have a complete lockdown.
Problem is...Horus cannot achieve ANY "total" lockdown...
Even if you manage to get out something as complex and almost impossible to get out like Horus LV8, Jinzo/Amplifier, Light of Intervention and The Last Warrior from Another Planet on your field, Lava Golem could kill it...(tribute the Last Warrior and Horus for its summon).
The most people use these days is Horus LV8 + Jinzo or Royal Decree for, at least, Magic and Trap lockdown...in which case, there's tons of open threads about it...
That's why I meant to use Horus Defensively. True, it may be risky because Horus in defense makes it vulnerable to attack. In attack mode, Mirror Force owns, but like I said, it would have to be an intricate build, not so easy as a Hrous deck with some Royal Decrees thrown in.
