Anyway, back on topic, I'm really hesitant with using Green Baboon in this deck. It was a toss-up between him and Manticore of Darkness, but Baboon barely won out because of its level (enough for a one-monster cost to summon War Lion), and faster summoning effect (lets me get it out from my hand or graveyard at any time a beast-type monster's destroyed, not just at the end of the turn). The only problem, is that if I decide to make this deck (and I wouldn't be buying the cards for War Lion if I wasn't), Manticore would be much easier to get than Baboon.

I'm also not quite sure why I put in the Tiger; it has rather weak stats and no effect, hence very little use for it, in this deck. Any suggestions on what to replace it with?

Yeah...Manticore is slightly easier to get...but then again, Green Baboon isn't TOO difficult to bring out either (with Holy Barrier - Mirror Force, Reactive Armors, Tidal Wave and Crushed Earths running around, along with just plain battle).

Maybe you could try out other Animals like...Flying Squirrel, Bazoo, Giant Rat, Maji-Gire Panda (gain 500 ATK and Special Summon Baboon), Death Koala, Hyena and such.
