I agree with iViE, it would probably do better in a tournament, but then again, both players can use it, right? I would be careful with it.

It would be great if someone(this is not a subtle hint) would try out a complete Mausoleum version(Hino, Ancient Gear Golem, etc) and the more CC type and see which does better.

I'm not too worried about my opponent using it since the only tributes most people play are Monarchs, and they wouldn't get their effects anyway. The worst that can happen would be Jinzo, but since this is a Decree build, I'm not relying on Traps anyway.

While its true both players can use it, I think people will rather sacrifice their own monster for a Monarch effect (Read: Zaborg) than pay the 1000 just to get a smaller shot in. The real problem comes in whether or not you can fully utilize the hand/card advantage that Airknight/Mefist will give you before any Monarch claims battle advantage. Jinzo might be the only tribute that's a problem, but since this deck runs on Decree and Quickplays, Jinzo shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Keep us posted on your playtesting results. Maybe you could top 8 at a regional or SJC with one of these, and then be rewarded for all of your hard work by noobs netdecking your winning deck and it showing up here in the Deck Depot, lol.
