I most unfortunately will not be able to go. For those of you who play Yu-Gi-Oh!, you probably have heard about the IOC prerelease event being held by Kings Games. Well, guess when it is? You guessed right if you said March 6th. I'm so disappointed. :(

Whats the point? YGO is barely grasping on to life at this point!

Actually yugioh is making a comeback thanks to there new tournament system. I think all the change with ude is because they hired a former Wotc employee to help them out. Anyway since this is a Duel Masters forum...

Card Coliseum, the pre release event for Ioc is for both saturday and sunday. So you can go to both! Thats what me and my friend are doing anyway.

actually if u want to participate in the mini tournament for IOC boosters you have to go on saturday as sunday will be the day for the regional tournament (check the FAQ at the site) you can actually attend both if your only goal is to get boosters since that starts at 9 in the morning and at 1:00 they will be holding another event. so if u just want some cards early and wanna check out duel masters you can do both easily since all you have to do is jump on the train for 1 stop and walk 3 blocks to get from YGO to DM.

maybe its possible that you can return to the IOC event if u leave for a while since you are paying $14 but to be safe find out before leaving.

That's what I was thinking, but there's also a Scholarship Series tournament that I was planning on playing in (provided the IOC tournament finished early enough). I have to e-mail Kings Games to see if there's going to be time to play in both. If not, I'll be sure to hop on that train.:D Maybe I have a shot of going after all. Thanx guys.

After visiting kings games today i have corrections to make to my last post that they neglected to mention in the FAQ, the IOC tournaments will continue aslong as they have boosters to give away as prizes. This makes me especially angry, i was gonna leave since the schedule implied the event ended at 1:00 for the scholarship tourny. The head organizer wasnt there to verify if there will be any way for you to return after leaving for an extended period of time, but i dont see why not. I mean we do have to eat right?

Anyways im still going and i hope to see some of you there

Relax I am judging the whole event for both days . On Saturday it will start at 9A.M. meaning that you will have plenty of time to stop by the ToysRus. The funny thing is that the toysRus shop is located about 2 blocks from the place the tournament is being held.

The toysRus is on 1514 Broadway

It's about 10 min. walk

well it should be a 10-15 minute walk because we are talkin about manhattan blocks here, your basically walking from 34th street (YGO) to 45th street (DM). Not too bad but if your familiar with the area but it can be a little unsettling otherwise. I wanna try to judge at the sunday regional also DarkBlast. Hopefully see you there
