I agree with many of yodaz statements. But, my wacky personal taste has lead me to try Light in Control and to overlap duties (Shot/Wave) with solid result--tho overlapping is a personal choice and not something I think is the "always greenlight" way to do things. Really, the only things I switch out in my 4ccs with Light and Nature are the blockers, then Phal/Forbos takes place of Terahorn, Awe/Snare, and stuff like that. The rest of the decks' shells stay the same, lol. Proper balancing of deck and keeping the right kinds of draw power help you overcome the mana problems that BAT would set in 4cc with Nature. Yeah, usually the Control deck that has more mana to work with, more card drawing, gets Soul drop first wins, lol. In that mold, 4cc with Nature has the edge tho nothing's guanranteed, lol.
I just wanted to add:
In Control Vs. Control
--outdraw opponent--usually the control deck with better card drawing has leg up
--lost soul--control opponent with more options usually wins
--sweepers--control opponent with more options usually wins
Ive been trying U/G mana recursion combos in D/W/F/N. I use tht instead of Phal for spell recursion and it make ups for me not havin D. reversal in the build. TeraHorn I like using to find Corile,Merfolk, or a much needed Dobulgeyser. Defense is Key. If my opponent gets rid of my hand but has nothing on the field to hit me with Im still in control.
"Imho, a good Control deck should be able to draw cards (or tutor) and deal with an opponent's cards. You can't control the pace of the duel well if you don't have cards in hand and if you don't remove some of your opponent's options = ways to gain card and tempo advantage."

Control mirror matches--I think it's necessary to have discard in this matchup. A solid Control deck is gonna draw cards--and if they kill more stuff than you or put out more stuff than you and build a good hand, often you're dead in the Water. The matches are gonna be so back and forth--barely see many cards out in field in Control versus Control. So, you've got to be able to come with a strong late-game or try to make sure that your opponent can't, so I love discard in those matches."

"With all this talk about Lost Soul, I'm wondering if beating control is as simple as crazyily accelerating and playing Lost Soul before your opponent them for the win, lol."

You guys basically just wrote my article over BUG/BUGy and its possible success over RUB at Continentals.
