Well I'm going to say that the above quotations prove you wrong beyond a reasonable doubt, destroying your argument, transcending your reality and making your vituperate comments deem you as childish. Good Game and go fix your deck.

1. A set isnt a summon.
2. The book wont flip summon it, it will flip it face up by an effect.
3. Grarl doesn't say anything about that now does it?

The classic Appropriate deck runs either Anteatereatingant, Emergency Provisions or Giant Trunade to take care of that alongside:

Card Destruction, Morphing Jar, three Chainsaw Insect, three Dragged Down and maybe a Defender or two.

So you're going to sac a mosnter to set a lvl 5 monster then play Book of Taiyou...? That is really way to slow. You place your hopes on the simple fact that
A.) You'll have a field
B.) You'll have the cards nessary to exicute that specfic combo.
C.) That you're opponent wont be able to over come a 2500 attack mosnter.

Also you're running 1 of each in your deck, mathmatically speaking, you're only going to draw them all or with in reasonable time once in a 'blue moon'. So now you're depending on luck, since you've dismissed abusing Appropriate say you'll deck out.

when did i say i was going to do it? i was just stating to someone else that the guardian had a loophole in his effect.

Haijime, this is getting a little close to flaming.

Remember, he's got a Gravity Axe also, therefore he can summon it with it's effect or normally as well as via Book of Taiyu; if he's maining MoF or Kotetsu he's got a higher chance of having the right spell when he needs it.

Given that Book and Gravity Axe are okay cards it's not like it hurts his deck much. If he likes Grarl for it's flavor or tech value then it's his choice.

Personally, I'm a fan of outrageous tech choices, thus why Guardian Tryce is always at the top of my play list. Go for it Johnophobia.
