be sure to contact Den Frenzy. He worked hard on his Greed deck a few months after SOD came out.
I personally prefer to use a couple of Morphing Jar #2 over Sasuke Samurai #3 simply because I dislike trying to compete in attacking with an aggro deck that can simply out do me. MJ#2 may not "draw" but it takes out the biggest threat you have: better monster with which they will smash you with.
Most decks are high in removal and attack reflection, like Sakuretsu, Mirror, ect. If you limit that aspect and concentrate on A) getting Greed active; and B) cycling through their drawing, then you have a higher chance of creating a simple burn engine.
The first "problem" I see are the three Mind Wipes. With all the drawing you're giving the opponent, you probably won't be able to use it often. Unless you try using Heavy Slump, I think dropping one wouldn't be a bad idea.
Also, like others have said, I don't see much use in Mystic Tomato. The only cards you can summon it that wouldn't ruin the card's effect are Mystic Tomato and Destiny Hero - Defender. I can't think of anything else that would work well with this deck, though... Maybe you could run Silent Magician LV4 and Level Modulation? Level Modulation would add more drawing for the opponent, and Silent Magician would rack up Spell Counters - and thusly, ATK - quite easily and quickly with this deck. May not be the best, but they're options.
I've been running a similar deck as of late (and having a blast with it I might add)
While it may appear that Morphing Jar is counter productive, remember that YOU are set up to do the burn damage and your opponent is not. Yes, you'll take some damage off of Greed just like your opponent should it be active on the field but you'll find you come out on top nearly everytime and you can't afford to deplete your hand with this deck, your opponent will have lots of options, you'll need them too! For the same reason Graceful Charity is important. If you don’t use it early to get your set-up then use it as bait for their S/T removal…THEN set your Greed.
Mind Wipe seems like a less than perfect choice for this deck as you’re trying to make your opponent draw cards. If the deck is working as it should it’s unlikely your opponent will have 3 or less cards in their deck as required by Mind Wipe.
May I suggest these cards as they've helped me a great deal in my Greed deck...
sasuke samurai 3 works very well with heavy slump. it can turn your opponents advantage that you give them with all of that draw power into only two cards. plus it is another 1000 with greed.
