I'm not saying advantage doesn't help, but it doesn't do the winning- even you cannot deny that fact.
Anyway, as for two GY cards: Yeah, so when I need the cards there, they aren't there... I'm not gonna chance that, and for only 300 extra ATK? I'll take my chances without it, thanks.
Where did I say anything about advantage? I never mentioned +1's anywhere. I said you should include certain monsrers to help in certain situations that you can get with reinforcements. I never mentioned advantage I dont understand why you keep going back to that.
Now follow along:
1) there are lots of different warriors
2) some of these warriors are good for very specific situations. Big monster in the way like pheonix...grad dd for example.
3) all of these monsters are seachable with reinforcements
4) you run 2 reinforcements
5) because of that you have the ability to search for what you need when you need it.
6) and thats why I said you could include monsters as 1 ofs...meaning 1 of that monster, should a situation arise where they are needed
I'm not talking about hand adavantage or + 1's. If you dont like the suggestion thats fine just be clear what I'm trying to suggest.
I don't understand why you wouldn't even consider trying out Morphing Jar #2... it's the greatness in this deck...
it's an awesome first turn play
you set... they play Cyber Dragon and another monster (as long as that's not Zaborg)... they run cyber dragon into it... you flip.. they put back monsters in their deck (yours goes to the graveyard).. and draw level 4 and lower monsters and put them in the rest of the cards they picked up into the graveyard... 3+ Cyber Dragons 3 + Monarchs or more and all the spells in between, means a lot goes to the graveyard (using a monarch as an example). I'd say it's also a little annoying for a gadget deck.. now after that one of those 3 Mystic Swordsman lv2's can hit the field or maybe you find a way to bring out LV4.. maybe you had a shallow grave... the possibilities are endless
and a shallow grave... why not? you both summon a face down.. you flip that level 6 and destroy theirs... it seems pretty win win to me...
I personally have wanted to build a Mystic Swordsman deck with Morphing Jar #2 and A Shallow Grave for a very long time now.
if you don't want tips or even want to consider trying something new why do you post your deck?.... I think there was a couple of other suggestions that were pretty noteworthy, but those were 2 of my favorites.
Because when I tried Morphing Jar #2, it NEVER worked, I never drew it 1st turn when it COULD have been useful... you get the idea.
Shallow Grave... let's see... last I checked(correct me if I'mm wrong), but you can't change the battle position of a monster the same turn it's Summoned, Set, or Special Summoned, correct? That's why I don't run Shallow Grave.
I'm more than willing to take some of the ideas presented, the only problem with the ones I WOULD do: Don't have the card(s) to do so(Donny Z in particular comes to mind).
