I have a beast deck myself but i have a habit of throwing my weight behind brute strength then having my opponant flip a man eater bug and leave me wide open

Look into gene-warped warwolf - he has the same attack as Beserk Gorilla but he is a normal not an effect monster

Giant Rat turned out to be a godsend to me - i use him to bring out my neo-spacian grand mole who is a fantastic member of my team :P

Oh and congrats on the green baboon - my dream addition to my team but i haven't subscibed so chances are i'll never get him!

Berserk works better here, because you can shift him to defense manually to bring out baboon when you need it.

well, baboon still requires a payment of 1000 to be special summoned. Which is why he is generally used with nimble momonga. The baboon is limited, and right now he is just a good splash for a beast deck, but when we get foolish burial, he will be a decktype by himself. A typical baboon line-up contains 3 rats, 3 momonga's and 2-3 berserk gorilla's. The aggro version techs 3 enraged battle ox, the drain variant tends to run more LP gain options.

Wild nature's release is pretty good for these decks as well.
