2x rescue cat
2x psychic commander
3x krebons
3x dd crazy beast
1x gyaku gire panda?? (just need another lv 3 beast and he seems best, although after reading sea koala I may run him instead. cat + sea koala is a free monster removal which is nice, just figuring out what ratio of lv monsters are best)
3x giant rat
1x mole (mole is god against synchros and is very easy to find with rat in this)
2x ryko
2x dd crow
1x green baboon
spells: (16)
3x emergency teleport
1x storm
1x mst
1x brain control
2x mind control
1x creature swap
2x book of moon
2x enemy controller
1x monster reborn
2x pot of avarice (so easy to use in this deck)
I think I'm going to have to find room for at least one Creature Swap and Mind Control in my deck, pretty sure I only own one Mind Control. The deck really needs them as a way to stabalize itself.
I still like the single Limit Reverse as it gives you another way to reuse Rescue Cat. Not sure what number of monsters I'm going to run for the Rescue Cat engine yet, I've got quite a bit right now, 9 I think but that includes 3 Nimble Momongas.
I do also need to find room for a Mole.
Is it just me or does Magical Android seem to pop up on your field a lot with this deck? Maybe I just get stuck with Krebons in my hand a lot more often than Psychic Commander.
2 Light and Darkness Dragon
3 Caius the Shadow Monarch
1 Thestalos the Firestorm Monarch
1 Jinzo
1 Giant Rat
2 Rescue Cat
3 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter
1 Des Koala
1 Card Trooper
2 Spell Striker
1 Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest
1 Treeborn Frog
2 Soul Exchange
2 Foolish Burial
2 Book of Moon
2 Book of Eclipse
1 Brain Control
1 Heavy Storm
1 Mystical Space Typhoon
1 Monster Reborn
1 Pot of Avarice
1 Enemy Controller
ok, been testing with this idea some heres what I got so far, it seems to do well against both teleDAD and glads, but as usual has trouble with lightsworns(I say as usual because everything seems to have trouble with lightsworns I'll get into this another time though)

Not necessarily looking for fixes, just figured that this deck was a good springboard for ideas.
needs sea koala. I dont see why people overlook that card. he is the ultimate pull out of rescue cat, he makes baboon swing for 2500 all the time. and makes every threat in this metagame beatable by battle with the exception of colossal fighter.
have a JD blocking your way? rescue cat into d.d beast and sea koala.
need only to hit 1000 points of damage to win the game? baboon with sea koala gets you that.
need a great monster that works with limit reverse? sea koala.
USE the damned koala. so much better then that crappy panda(since ojama is limited to 1 this cards playabilty dropped)
I'm currently running a pair of Sea Koala, three seemed to be too many with the initial build I had, though to be fair I want to get Giant Rat into my deck so I may need to do some more tweaking anyway to get this monster line up right I'm thinking:
2 Sea Koala
3 D.D. Crazy Beast
2 Gyaku Gire Panda
2 Giant Rat
The other options I still want to think about for Rescue Cat are:
Neo-Spacian Dark Panther
The Wicked Worm Beast (Now would this return to your hand before Rescue Cat's effect destroys it? If so it's interesting to me a little bit, if not then I wouldn't look at it)

the wicked worm beast goes to your hand. i used to play a rescue cat build at locals for fun. it used rescue cat to fetch wicked worm beast for discard fodder or for manticore fodder. really competevive deck by the way.

Hmmm, that changes things a little for me then, I'll have to give this some more thought. I'm thinking something like use Rescue Cat to grab Sea Koala and Wicked Worm Beast, activate Sea Koala to lower one of your opponent's monsters attacks, attack and destroy. Return Wicked Worm Beast to your hand and then when Sea Koala is destroyed by Rescue Cat's effect pay 1000 life points and get Green Baboon onto the field.
I'd probably only run one Wicked Worm Beast if I did decide to try it out, but it seems interesting.

i use to run three, worst case you creature swap it.
heres my decklist
monsters 20
2x rescue cat
1x green baboon
3x d.d crazy beast
2x sea koala
1x grand mole
3x giant rat
3x psychic commander
2x krebons
1x wicked worm beast
1x cyber dragon
1x morphing jar
spells 11
3x E. teleport
3x creature swap
2x pot of averice
1x monster reborn
1x heavy storm
1x mst
2x rescue cat
1x green baboon
3x d.d crazy beast

Minus the Cyber Dragon this is pretty close to what I was thinking of revising my line up too. Cyber Dragon does make sense with Psychic Commander though so I might try it out.
I also wasn't running Morphing Jar though it does make sense. I'll have to think about this one more too. I still like the maxed out Krebons, I know they aren't that great on the field since you want to save your life points for Green Baboon, but I don't often pay for Krebons or leave it on the field unless it's 100% necessary. I also still have the three Rykos in the deck, not sure how I feel about them right now though they are one of the few ways I have to get Baboon into the graveyard right now.

I'll have to try Pot of Avarice at some point, I haven't dug that out in a while and this might be the right application for it.
Creature Swap I want to work into the deck but I'm not sure I want three in there. I seem to get stuck with Creature Swap more often than not, I'd probably run two at the most, possibly starting at one and working up from there.
I'd actually run less Solemns if anything. I'm trying to not run any right now, we'll see how that goes over the next few weeks. I may try out a second Limit Reverse, it does seem more reliable with Dust Tornado.

creature swap is so good in this deck. with wicked worm beast being entirely searchable i just swap him or my giant rats.
if anything i would take out solems and add 2 rykos but thats about it.
Yeah, The Wicked Worm Beast is a pretty fun card for such a Deck. (Since you choose to resolve it or Cat's effect first given they're both yours.) And definitely agree on using 2-3 Sea Koala; like many cards, very underestimated, even in its own Decktype(s).
